Good question. Here's a couple of threads that discuss health and fitness:
Walking Shoes - Walking and Other Exercise
Staying/Getting/Doing Well – Moving goalposts or fixed target?
However, if neither of those are quite what you're looking for, we'd definitely recommend making a thread of your own in the Staying well section on this topic.
Kind regards,
Sophie M

Hi Flower Earth Angel
Sounds like she will keep you on your toes!
Such wonderful news that you have a new kitten to love and care for. You have come so far to get today. You should be so proud of yourself to have persevered.
I hope the new kitten helps to mend your heart and warm your soul. You deserve the love, my friend.
What does the new kitten look like? I’m picturing a little ball of grey with a pink nose and big brown eyes. Or perhaps a tabby?
Kind thoughts to you

She sounds beautiful! Do you feel any better with the company?
I’ve been through a tough few days and am so grateful for my dog—she loves me no matter what!

Hi Flower Earth angel, Summer Rose and geoff.
Have just read this whole thread and learned a bit about how this journey has been for you, Flower Earth angel, and the conversation around it. I don't have pets and haven't suffered loss of a pet, but relate to some of the other things going on, and have some emotional relatability to loss in general (I had some more about what I understand about that here in these brackets but decided to go back and delete it because I know you're at a stage now with a new kitty and don't want to go back to focus on previous emotions in case it is triggering for you.)
I am also glad that you've got a new feline friend to give and receive attention and care with, though maybe at this point it means more coming from Summer Rose as she's been tracking with you for quite a while and I know how comforting familiarity with people can be.
As well as expressing my warm thoughts and wishes for your wellbeing, Flower Earth angel, I just want to express my appreciation of Summer Rose in her diligence checking on you, and geoff's contribution too.
These acts of kindness gradually make the world a better place, by helping one individual and also setting an example for others who can see it, and bringing both a sense of hope and inspiration to others who might want to both be there for someone in some small way, or share their own struggle and reach out for help. Also any way you've helped that one individual person can also ripple outward to good that they might contribute to the world too in any small way. Like being there for a new kitten who might not have had care otherwise (which is actually not a small thing at all if I'm understanding correctly!). 🙂
Much love

Hi Forrest
Welcome to the thread and thank you for taking the time to post.
Your kind words and thoughtfulness really touched me. In fact, you’ve made my day!
It can be a tough world, particularly for anyone experiencing a MH condition and/or their families and friends, but this online space is genuinely different. I am constantly amazed by the courage of people seeking support and the willingness of others to try to help.
I’m glad you’re here Forrest, and I hope the experience is meaningful to you as well.
Kind thoughts to you
Life can be tough, but people don’t have to be. We all have choices to make and
