Introduction - Hello Everyone

Hi all,

I'm new to this forum. I'd like to introduce myself. I'm 40 years of age, female. My interests include music (any genre), reading a great novel, watching comedy, Restuaranting, and learning new things. I suffer from depression and anxiety. Depression feels very lonely for me. I'd like to reach out for some support. Thank you.

But I know what you mean.... it's very tricky territory and I view EVERYTHING through "legal eyes" so I'm not good for advice.

I'm SO HAPPY to be throwing things out - finally... well I've been doing it for years but yeah...

I had 8 square metres of unwanted / broken stuff picked up by Council a few months ago.
We're lining up the next pick up for January lol. It's piled up on the blind side of our house and getting BIGGER!

But the other stuff like shoes etc can go in neighbour's bins (we have an agreement with a few neighbours yay!) on bin night if ours is full, which is the usual lol.

But I gave 3 garbage bags to Alexa today for her neighbours to sell, SO HAPPY lol.
About 6 garbage bags waiting in the hallway for donating. Yay!

AND FULL BINS!

Alexa nearly fell over when she saw my shoe cupboard. Most had been 2nd hand shoes and my feet have suffered big time. So they're out now.

I Kon Maried my clothing 3y ago between Courts (I thought it was the end but no..... grrr).
Those need Kon Marieing lol (how do you even SPELL that? lol) again.

All my t-shirts and "smalls" are colour coded standing UP and I love that.

But my hanging clothes... omg... I'll have next to no hanging space in new bedroom.
I've gotta be BRUTAL there.

My new bedroom will look like a jumble sale of whatever furniture I can muster.
I was going to wait until after the cabin's built to get better furniture... plus I have 18 months from hell financially unless a miracle happens lol... and they DO happen!

You just never know there.

I'm in an IDK mood, so IDK lol.

I polished my antique furniture in the dining room tonight - it looks NOICE!

I'm going to get stuck into behind the lounges now.... discovery time! ERK!

The loungeroom looks SO MUCH BIGGER now I'm decluttering.
I walk through and say this room's got a bit of the Blubes hapnin' lol.

Thanks for the push, I can do with a push lol.

You'd feel better for it. Create space - space in any room is luxurious, even the garage. Throw away clothes that you no longer fit, wear etc. No point hanging on to them. If you require new clothes later for an update, start fresh - fashion changes every season, its very quick. Trick with clothes is to keep only pieces that are classic, won't date. They can remain in your closet for life.

Sleepy, I will screw it up. I know me too well. The thing about me is I've always hate the thought of being 'stuck' or 'tied down' to one person. It scares me. That's why I'm not married. And men do not want to stick around to be just ', friends'. So best I just perve and flirt. lol. I like him, he's sweet. I don't want him to leave. Underneath his cute facade, he's a pleasant person. I can't screw it up. It's hard because he's so goddam hot. I said to Ems when I first laid eyes on him that "there's only one problem .. he's cute". And, it's becoming a problem coz I'm feeling really mmmm. Lol.

So, smokey grey mirrored 'regency' will date very quickly. Steer clear of that, I would. And its too dark for your room. Grey mirrored furniture would suit a bigger, more spacious room. I need more time to think about whether mirrored chest of drawers together with 2 mirrored bedside would look good or too much. I think it'll work but not 100% on that yet.

I've been MIA bec of NBN being down for days... lol. So weird!

Anyway it was good for me even though I missed you all.

YES!
I'm working VERY hard inside my home, but have to keep chopping & changing what I'm working on for various reasons, mainly kids needing me, prepping food, grocery shopping, doing laundry, pets etc.

My dining room is looking AMAZING.
I took on what you said about "silver" but opted for a Coles version today! LOL!
I bought 2 ceramic silver stars and put one on each side of my Antique sideboard.
Then my huge white flat fruit bowl - might put gold and silver baubles in that.

I sent a photo of it to BF and he was GOBSMACKED... he said it looks like something out of a magazine lol... I said it was Bluberry lol.

I COMPLETELY cleaned and sorted the balcony till 3am Friday night lol. It's BEAUTIFUL.
I have more to do on that for it's Stage Two but later is fine.

I keep popping into my bedroom and prodigal son's room to keep chipping away but I HAVE to get the loungeroom sorted in Stage One Style asap.
I want it to match the dining room in orderliness, cleanliness and crispness but adding comfort also.
Being SO NARROW it's a pain to organise the furniture so it "flows" but I've finally come up with a configuration I just HAVE to try. One I've never done before in this room and I CAN'T WAIT but must for this weekend.

THAT will take me days of work. It involves using one piece of furniture from p.son's room.
Maybe even taking stuff to other places IDK.

My OTHER sons live downstairs in 3 rooms and the garage is a GYM!
The gym is kept very well by them... their bedrooms, well it comes and goes lol.

MY storage areas under the house is beginning to get organised alot more. I had a handyman build extensive shelving under there this year. I just need to organise HOW to place things on them - what goes where type of thing.

lol.... the plot thickens. I hear the "don't want to ruin a friendship" line echoed by you.

I'm glad you're getting out & about reconnecting ie that guy from the Court house... hope you make some really nice friends dear.

A friend of mine said a REALLY horrible thing to me last week. It took me a long time to stop thinking about it. I guess it took her a long while to blurt it out! I was completely blindsided by it.
I'm really not sure where that f/ship stands now. I patiently answered her questions but her near "accusation" hurt... now I know she has zero clue.

I need sleep!

Keep at it with the styling of your home, it'll come up exactly the way you hoped for. At times it could be a miss and its not quite right, but keep chopping and changing. lol I do all the time. Hmm narrow loungeroom screams L-shaped lounge configuration.

Re: flattie - "I don't want to ruin a friendship line": Sounds cliche but true. What if we did the deed and it doesn't work out? He leaves and I don't want him to leave. I like things as they are. It's hard though coz I want to, but I have to think with my brain and not downstairs lol. We had a strange, adult convo this weekend (he says strange things sometimes and at times he acts all strange around me), I don't even know if I can say it here on the BB forum... It went like this: Him: "Remember the other day you went upstairs into my room and I .." Me: (interrupted him):"Yeh, you were .. with yourself .. do you do that often"? Him:"these days, yes".. "that's because you won't satisfy me". Me:"you never asked". Him:"I thought I've been explicit about it". Me:"nope. No". Him: "I thought you knew that is what I want". Me:"I thought you heard me when I said in your dreams baby". He starts laughing as I walked off and said "come on". As I walked up the stairs OMG I got lol really hot. Just yeah.. felt extremely h. blush blush. In that conversation, I felt like pulling his .. and grabbing his .. OMG. LOL!!! Moving on....

It CANNOT happen, Ems.

My ultimate dream (one day) is to have a spare room set up as a gym with mirrors on walls & gym machines. Will cost a bit though lol.

Yeah, so the guy from the Court house. I had fun last night. I walked in there and he was at the back preparing the tobacco mixes. I rang the bell at the front desk. It's a bar lounge with shisha - he set the place up really nicely. Im impressed. The furniture looks amazing with flatscreen t.vs everywhere for music videos. He came out and said OMG, hi. how are you? Me: You remember me? Him: Yes, of course. I didn't think you'd ever show. I thought you got back with your husband. Me: Not my husband. He gave me a kiss on the cheek and hug. Me: I came to see how you were going. Him: yeah good. Take a seat. What flavour did you want? Me:Umm Him:Orange & mint. Me: you remember. We spoke about Court and the outcomes. Him:So what happened with your case was it a good outcome? Me: it got withdrawn. Him: wow, how did you manage that? Me: argued with the prosecutor and I had evidence, he didn't. Him:No evidence and it got that far? Me:yup, dumb police officers Him: (laughed) he's so big. Me: Yeah, it's laughable. Him: yea it is. He's European. Me: Spanish/Australian yes. Him: Good looking man. Me: Can we not talk about him. Me: so how was your case, good outcome? Him: Yes. Me: Divorce, right? Him: what? Me: (chuckled): Divorce & divorce settlements in the jurisdiction of the family court, not Magistrates'...so, tell me why you were really there. Him: (laughed): I assaulted a guy. Me: Did he deserve it"? Him: Yeah, he did. Me: were you convicted? Him: No...I feel like I'm talking to my lawyer. Me: (laughed).

Hi Blubes, here I sit with a gob of a gob having been manipulated to the HIGH heavens in that "dental spa" lol... ewww sore.

AND awaiting a call back from Alexa... deep strange convos happening there between her and Angelo..

I think the Court guy would be a better friend than anything else... the red flag was in the word "assault"! Better him on YOUR side as a friend than anything more my dear lol.

Yah tha GYM... well the boys (not p.son tho) pooled their money and bought all new gym equipment over time; bench press, heaps of weights, walking / running machine, rowing machine etc etc. It's FULL!
I bought some nice darkish blue paint and have a finish in my mind for down there.
There are my mirrors everywhere lol... they'd love swish plate glass mirrors though I AM SURE.

I'll most definitely keep going with the styling etc... just have to pace myself during the work week. I'm exhausted already lol - HUGE day today. Probably an extremely early start tomorrow and a late night event at work too.

Alexa's bday too... going out for Thai. Need to get a cake for her mainly for her kids or they'll feel bad the little darlings.

Darn it. I forgot to take money out for her bday present. I'm buying her that make up make over she wanted. She doesn't know yet.

Ughh she hasn't phoned back yet!
Their relationship is at a pinnacle precipice point.
They are both kind of freaking out that they feel lots of feelings this early and have managed to keep it in the friends zone.

IDK how tonight's convo will turn out.

Angelo phoned his best friend today (who happens to be married to one of Alexa's closest friends lol so Alexa found out the goss) and he broke down freaking out about his feelings for her.
Btw Angelo has NEVER once discussed any of his r/ships with any of his friends before.

He's has 2 long term r/ships with what sounds like pretty nasty girls - not word from Angelo, wor from Alexa's best friend.

And lastly my friend... in reflection I'm sad to say that these damning perspectives of hers about me must have been instantaneous upon Yvette's disclosures 3 or so years ago.

I think that's what makes me sad. That she didn't say these things at the time. But she has shown deep compassion over the phone. She lives a long way away (near prodigal son actually)... so I seldom see her.

When I'm feeling a bit stronger over it all, I'll need to have a better convo with her bec she IS important to me. She has lots of very difficult things going on atm.

We've known each other for over 40y since beginning high school... we didn't become close until about 10y ago when her H passed away suddenly but we've always been friendly.

I followed on and saw you were bored at home and went out to see the court friend! How are u today?

Hope u and flattie are good - must be hard as he's so attractive and so.. there.. lol. But at least you get along on any level. A gym room would be fun but I gasped because I have a fear of mirrors! But back in my gym days I rememebr watching myself do the excercises. Are you loving going to the gym??

I went to a store today and it was super annoying I had to book a session in and they are being so ridiculous about it - like u cannot go to the store outside of that time and they didn't have anything I wanted anyway. I was just lol over it.

I wanted to tell u I so love the charcohl and white on my bed. It's so good. I have a white throw at the end at the moment (a waffle blanket - a bit wintery but I was cold last night) and it pops. You visualised it and got it in one 🙂
