Hello Cala,
How are you feeling? I really hope you are ok now and not feeling guilty or sick anymore.πΉ..
I read your " just do it" how many times do I yell those words to myself, from getting up, making the bed, housework, even some days a shower, those 3 little words can get me to do things...um sometimesπ..
You sound very encouraging to the little children, that's so nice to hear, children need to be told daily that they are loved and you can never give them to much encouragement I think..plus look at how it made you feel when you seen their eyes light up with appreciation...
Good luck with your gardening, I made a garden when I bought this house, I have a frangipani tree that's survived two winters here...the only one in town, but it's in a large pot and needs transplanting into the earth...but water restrictions makes it near impossible to keep the garden healthy...maybe I should plant cacti π΅ in my garden..π..
I'm off to sleep soon..Enjoy tomorrow,
Hello Birdy,. I hope your feeling a little better hun, it's hard to get up once we're down...I hope your chickens are okay, and they give you plenty of happy memories...Pleasevlook after yourself...I hope tomorrow will be a good day for you...xxx
Caring and comforting hugs π€.
Grandy...

Hi Cala and Grandy π
Cala, I also hope you are feeling much better after reading Grandy's beautiful reassurances to you. Grandy is a truly special person.
I know what you mean about frames not suiting the house you're in now, I've got loads like that, they just don't quite work.
You can ask me about the shed later this week (I will tell you when you may ask!)
I managed to get out and do a bit more in the garden, the days have been so lovely! No wind. How about you, did the sunny days lure you out from under your blankies? It's hard in the winter. I just came back from a lovely walk at the beach, it was absolutely gorgeous.
Thanks Grandy, yes the girls always provide quality entertainment on a daily basis ππ I moved their fence and now they have half the backyard the cheeky things, and they've been so eggscited π
Cala, you are giving those little treasures at the school such a gift, listening to their beautiful efforts, giving them your attention, acknowledging their progress and just being there. It is so sad that they don't get these things at home. I bet they look forward to Thursdays when you're there.
Oh gosh, I am so sorry you had to have a conversation in June about Christmas!! What a nightmare! I try to put Christmas out of my mind until about 11:59pm on the 24th of December. The best Christmas I ever had was me, my partner and our doggy snuggled on the couch watching back to back DVDs with pouring rain outside. Never got out of our pyjarmies. Sound good to you? I dread Christmas (it used to be fun ... not anymore), and would happily spend it Hiding Under The Bed if I could get away with it.
What a shame a potentially nice visit with the neighbour turned horrible!!
Got to go out the girls to bed and tell them to have some sweet chicken dreams.
Love to you both β€

Hello to two very special gals - Birdy and Grandy
Thank you both so much for your posts. It was lovely that each of you took the time to write so much of your thoughts, news and support.
I am feeling quite flat, and βblankβ explains whatβs going on in my head today. Itβs been heavily overcast, raining, cold and not a whisper of a breeze here today. It feels like the air is straight from the Antarctic. Perhaps it explains a bit of how I feel.
Because of where you both are the weather is probably even more wintery than it is for me, so I hope you are both tucked up nice and warm. Iβm imagining you Birdy sitting by your log fire with a glass of red, and Grandy you with your fur buddies and a hot chocolate.
Iβm ok but Iβm all out of words and sooo tired π
Bye for now, Cala

Hello Cala,
I should have answered your lovely post to me on my thread a few days ago..I have a lot of problems with being told nice things about me...I shut down, and don't know how to respond or answer them...it's only been this past year that these words have been said to me...I'm learning to accept them and trying so hard to believe them. Thank you very much for saying those kind words to me..
I read your post today and just had to let you know that I really Truth here, been in a tshirt through the main part of the afternoon as it's been like spring days..Our nights are icy outside, I'm all wrapped up in my blankets on my lounge and am warm as toast..
Im sorry that you were feeling flat yesterday, I hope today you feel better....I love cold wet rainy days..I have a iron roof, and the sound of the rain is so relaxing...
Are you doing anything special today?
ok im going to try and sleep a little now.
Good Night Birdy and Cala, two very special and beautiful people πΉπ..
Live,
Grandy...xx π€π€..

Hi Birdy and Grandy
Grandy weβve been talking on your thread, but Birdy where are you ? how are you ? Saw you on someoneβs thread this morning - maybe Iβve missed it, but havenβt seen you about for days otherwise. What have you been up to ? Can I mention that naughty four letter word βshedβ ???
Iβm ok, sort of. Iβve been out this last week for a variety of reasons, met up with a couple of people, had coffees, been for a walk, been to school, but I still feel flat. Canβt get enthusiastic or motivated about anything - not even to clean up the kitchen. Itβs a bugger!
the weather is not as cold at the moment, but thereβs a long way to go with winter yet. The sun and some blue sky is out today which is good.
well the pressure is on - Iβve really got to get some things done today, so Iβd better go now.
Lots of love and hugs to you both β€οΈπππππ§‘ππ Cala

Hi Cala π Hi Grandy π
This is just real quick, I have dinner on the stove ... just wanted to say hi and yes you are quite right Cala, I've not posted much (you saw me this morning commiserating with a new darling but had almost zero phone power), have just been feeling quiet and contemplative I guess.
I am reading the Best Book!!! It's one where I am grieving that it will end in fewer than 20 pages so am eeking those pages out ...
Cala, please do not use that Four Letter Word yet!! ...
sorry you're feeling flat Cala ... Grandy, I am feeling very sad for you about Gizmo ... sorry to lump everything together, i will do better hopefully tomorrow or the next day, but I am very tired right now. I have been awake since 1:24 am ...
lots of love to you both xo

Hello Cala,
I really hope your sore throats is easing off a little, I don't like hearing of any one being sick, especially ones that I care very deeply for. If you still feel not well and sore can you try to go to dr and get yourself checked out...thinking of you πΉ..
So I've brought you in some π off my tree.vitamin c ,I'll make a nice big jug of orange juice...one virtual orange makes 2 litres of pure orange juice... also some βοΈ sunshine, and I made you some lunch and dinner, some creamy pumpkin π π soup..Yummy..I hope it helps you a little...ooops I almost forgot, some dessert π° π§ π¨ ...one for the next 3 days...or Birdy and I will pop over yours tonight and join you for dinner...and dessert..
Big hugs π€ xx
