Really struggling

Hi All,

This is the first time I have ever tried to use a forum. I simply don't know what else to do.

Atm I have a lot of memories, images, voices from past experiences resurfacing. On top of work environment that can trigger these. I simply can not take it anymore and cope. All I want to do is make everything stop.

I have been sitting with suicide for a while now, and I am tired of fighting it. I feel like I have exhausted all my options, I am wondering if anyone has any advice.

I have started the process of seeking help, however it'll take months to organise. On top of this I can't exactly share what's going on etc.

Sorry

Dear Saree

I was so glad to hear your mood has improved. Let’s hope it stays that way and you are able to finally get off the roller coaster. I’m sorry if my last post didn’t help, but I do my best based on my own experiences.

It’s terrible you have to pay to get half way decent mental health services and can’t rely on the public system. I was lucky we have good services over here both in the community and hospital. I hope you continue to seek help as it is very difficult to become stable without proper support.

I am doing well thanks. Have been at the movies recently and saw Tenet which I didn’t enjoy as it was too confusing and way too long. It is about espionage and time travel.

Do you manage to get out much? Stay safe and enjoy this time while your mood has improved xox

With lots of love Jojo 🌼🤗👋

Sorry Jojo,

I keep going to respond and get side track.

Ur post are always helpful, sorry for misleading you.

Thought was going up but seem a little under the weather and stressed about our engagement party.

How are you Jojo?

Dear Saree

It’s okay if you get sidetracked. In fact I am glad you do as it means you are keeping yourself busy and hopefully distracted too.

Sorry you are feeling under the weather again. It might be the stress of organising your engagement party as happy events can be a challenge too especially if you have mh problems. When is the party?

It can be a strain to be sociable if you are not feeling the best which is perfectly understandable. I would find that stressful too especially if I wasn’t sure what my mood would be like on the day of the party.

I am going really well thanks and enjoying a few warmer days of spring though have had a lot of rain too. I am going to a GROW group tonight. It’s a support group for people with mental illness. I am going to support my best friend rather than for myself, but should hopefully get something out of it too.

Take care and I hope your engagement party goes well xox

With lots of love Jojo 🌼🤗💐

Dear Saree

Welcome back. Sorry you are going through a horrible time. Losing your job doesn’t mean you are a failure it just means you are at a crossroads in your life. Try to see it as an opportunity to perhaps change direction. It also gives you time to concentrate more on your mental health without the pressure of trying to work.

In the early stages of my illness I quit a job without having another one and found it quite liberating as I knew I had the skills to find another job when I was ready. You will too as you are clearly very good at what you do, so try not to stress.

Life has many twists and turns so don’t be dismayed by where you are now as you just never know what’s around the corner. Don’t lose hope.

How did your engagement party go? Have you set a date for the wedding yet?

Stay strong and optimistic. Life has a way of working itself out.

With lots of love Jojo 🌼🤗👋

Sorry Sophie and Jojo.

Engagement party u was Saturday. It was a brilliant night and looked amazing. My whole total of 2 friends there lol.

I've never lost a job before. Our plan is for two full time wages, not one. I cant even tell him.basically I've lost it because I've constantly been unwell of late. Had migraine all week, and despite medical certificate yeah.

I was only just starting to get back on my feet and in the Grove Jojo. Sorry. Sounds stupid but yeah. Now it's crashed

Dear Saree

I am glad your engagement party was a huge success that’s something to be thankful for.

It must be disheartening to lose your job just as you were beginning to get your groove back, but I am sure with your skills and experience you will soon find something else. I hope your migraine has passed as that is extremely debilitating.

When the time is right I am sure you will tell your partner what has happened. You probably just need some time to adjust to the situation.

Try to accept the here and now and not stress too much about tomorrow or the future. Things have a way of falling into place. This is just a setback in the bigger scheme of things.

There is a job out there with your name on it just waiting for you to apply. BELIEVE!

Take care and start updating your resume xox

Lots of love Jojo 🌼🤗💐
