Ptsd isn't something I have thought about, got generalised anxiety but they never even mentioned Ptsd maybe its worth mentioning

He never understands anything. Mum warned me to stay away from him and be careful I should of listened. This is why, he's unstable, one minute he hates me, next minute wants me to go up and see him

I'm not a psychologist or trained professional but from what you've said tonight I'm seeing things differently. YouVe had your dad and your brother both leave you. You're doing what you can to maintain some sort of relationship with your dad and you tried to help your brother as much as possible. your anxiety may stem from events from a long time ago.

perhaps read up on ptsd! Maybe even read the threads here.

And I feel so stupid because I just keep thinking it will work out, clearly it won't, it wanting something that will never happen

I will hve a look into Ptsd. But I feel like most days I function ok, some issues sometimes but I suppose I'm kind of denying it 😕

It may not be ptsd, just a thought.

I alwYs find Saturday nights difficult. The routine changes on weekends, I think of people out having fun and I feel a little lost and lonley at times. Some people struggle with anxiety in the mornings, some at night. You should look at YouTube for anxiety relief, I'm going to start it too. Also look into mindfulness. Paul has a thread on it here. It's a good one.

You're not obsessing. You've never had closure. He keeps contacting you one minute positive, next negative. It's like a mind game, you don't know what go think. He's neither in nor out.
