Hi,
with football its what you used to watch and learn from day one. I know a bit about the AFL rules and watch some of the games when the Sydney sides are playing .
You pass the ball backwards to go forward,(in AFL you pass back or kick backwards don't you?) have you heard of the Melbourne storm? Just watch one game and you may like it. (not many people like them in NSW as they are too good for an interstate side)
I'll have to send you the NRL rule book , its only 20,000 pages you will be the expert after that. (only kidding no idea how big it is)
just need to watch a game or 2 to get the rules is really the answer.
apologies for the useless info above.

Pass the ball backwards to go forwards...see what madness that is...lol!!
Yes I have heard of the Melbourne Storm and I have watched a few games but I just don't get why they want to beat the heck out of each other and the likes..it is full on! I will be sure to put the rule book to good use, some light reading over the weekend, or perhaps I keep it when I need to start a fire....lol.
My dad lives in Cooma so I am somewhat familiar with the way folks are in NSW...lol....I am actually heading there for the weekend of the 28th of March as we are burying my brothers ashes. There is a beautiful spot on my dad's property that overlooks the Snowy River and this is where he requested to be laid to rest. It will be a very emotional day as it would have also been his 20th birthday, however it is all apart of the healing and I am hopeful that once we lay the ashes that this will help my dad mentally also.
Sorry if that was a bit much to share.

Hi sarah,
No need for sorry , not much to share at all. it sounds so beautiful and peaceful.
I pray that you , your family especially your dad and all your loved ones find peace, and emotional healing from this ordeal .
warm regards,
William

Thank you so much Will, that is a really lovely message and I hope that they find some peace and the guilt and the blaming themselves can be buried along with his ashes too. I have actually done something which I hope that they find special, I have bought for my step mother a necklace and my father a wrist band made from leather and on these are embossed the coordinates of the site in which he will be buried, that way they can wear them and hold him dear. I hope that they love them, I will give them to them on the day and read a poem maybe, I haven't worked that part out yet.
I am going to be taking public transport tomorrow and I feel so very old as I haven't got a train in so long and had to check out times and how to do it...lol..what a goose!

Hey William
Your new pic hasn't loaded yet but I will be sure to let you know once I see it...it better not be a rugby pic...lol
I chose mine as it is just a beautiful pic of the vulnerability of people and a girl hugging a lion in that anything is possible if we accept each other and treat each other with respect. Just a lovely pic that spoke to me.
I have worked out the train. I have to get up soooo early...lol..all good tho as it will be for a great cause and I am really looking forward to chatting to people and to get the awareness out there for BB and for mental health as it is so very important.
I hope that the appointment goes well for your son, I am sure it will and he can start to get the support that he needs which is great.
I am sorry that you are feeling so alone and that you do have so much time alone. I know it is all apart of the process of your anxiety and hopefully soon we can get you out and about with less panic, anxiety and feeling so overwhelmed and sad.
Hugs
Sarah

Hi William
Your profile has loaded now and I love this quote, although I am not a religious person I do believe in something else I am just not sure what that is but I love this saying. I am hoping you can apply it to your life too in that having the courage to make changes and to take risks however scary that they may seem, you are starting to do that Will and I hope you can look at this quote and to take a breathe and draw some courage from it too.
Good on you. Nice choice of pic.
Cheers
Sarah

Hi Sarah,
It not meant to be as religious as it sounds . It is God of your understanding. Its the 12 step program (AA,GA etc) Mantra.

Good Morning Will
Just thought I would jump on here to say that I hope you have a great day, that I am thinking of you and will be back to chat later on after my shift today. I am really excited to be volunteering and it will be people like you that I will be thinking of when talking to others and sharing the love and the support for MH. Have a great day my friend.
Hugs Sarah
