Hi,
Can anyone answer that question, it's odd, every evening I'm full of hope, eg: tomorrow I will do this and that and be proactive, next morning, step out of bed into a pre dug hole.

Hi
I think it's more to do with being off work, my normal routine would be work, as I am unable to face work, I think I'm struggling with that and overthinking everything.

Hi
I feel the same way every night I make plans how I am going to do things in the future to make things better I tell myself I can charge my life but the next morning I find a excuse not to do these things too cold ,do not want to spent any money, too tired ect. I tell myself get a grip do not give up but I almost have.
I wish I could give you a answer because then I would have one too .

Hi all 🙂
How ya goin Retchey
About over thinking it's dangerous yes, but thinking's needed to be able to work out how to rise again.
Trouble with depression is it darkens/Blackens our thoughts & emotions. It's strong but so are we (I'm working on seeing it as a separate entity, force, dunno right word yet). I wanna beat this. We all do, It's NOT how we want to feel. There's strength in that.
If we can refocus our thinking from how we're feeling, (dangerous, takes us lower) to how to cope and work towards getting back up.
Believe: ............We've got strength, we can get on top
Acknowledge:...I'm down
Why: ...............
How:................What do I need to do to pull back up
Help: ..............Here, GP, Psych, meds, friends, family, support, talking, excercise, meditation, mindfulness, yoga, creativity, distraction, goals, pushing through, sleep (Vital) (heard a lot of this around here, magic)
I'm working through Retchey, has to be sooner than later, don't have all the answers yet but getting there, here's amazing, learnt so much. Also through thinking and excellent Psych. (I'm BP Bipolar)
Willis 13 yrs of no doubt heavy emotional pain caring for people you love. That'd be incredibly hard. Be gentle with yourself, you've gone through a lot. I wonder if this is coming down from it all, must be a massive void.
I suggest without pressure keep thinking about what you'd like to do like you have and no it doesn't sound awful at all
allow yourself to breath.
tc everyone

Hi guys,
Well this thread has gained a little traction, didn't think I was the only one that thinks like this, I am gradually getting my "mojo" back, really been pushing through, going out with mates, visiting people, cooking and generally just life(ing) lol, im not out of the woods yet, but I can see the clearing, I'm sure I'll have bad days still but I'm allowing this to happen, I'm finally just starting to relax, and it feels good.
Hang in there guys, push yourself a little each day, not much just a little, and allow yourself to feel good & bad.
Cheers

Hi guys,
So all was going well for a period, I then went out one night to visit family friends, with my family, the next day I woke up and the cloud was back, I haven't changed any meds or anything, I'm kind of at a, loss to understand why, I was taking steps forward? Anyone cast some light on this?

Yeah the beast doesn't like being slayed or pushed aside, it's powerful but you/we are as well, and you're making so much good progress on the up and out, I really hope you've been able to pick up again.
I find tiredness not only carries extra stress, I think cause the bodies trying to fight it and adrenalin and whatever else we've got in our bag of goodies if it's not released or used for how it's intended to work can cause tension & blow balance out of sync but tiredness also pulls us down mentally we're at our weakest physically too for that matter
I'm not sure otherwise but it definately does go that way doesn't it
Hope you don't think you've been deserted cause you haven't 🙂
I'm aiming to be here more regularly so hoping you come back and that you're still on the way back up, if not I suggest keep reiterating how you were feeling on the up side and remember that you were there recently and can get back
All best 🙂
