I was wondering what are your go to songs you listen to when depressed?

Mine is anything Elton John, particularly Don't let the sun go down, i guess that's why they call it the blues, Rocket man., something about the way you look tonight. Anything Delta Goodrem..Sinead O Connor, nothing compares. All cried out by Allure. Flawless by Delta goodrem, Heavy by Delta Goodrem, Life by Delta, Fragile by Delta. Mistaken Identity by Delta.

I listen to my sad songs, drink and normally cry.

What songs do you listen to depressed?

Sonate Pacifique (Instrumental or original) - L'Imperatrice

Boredom - Tyler the Creator

Harvest Moon - Poolside

Harmony - The Avalanches

Welcome, loving both last two posts, thank you so much

For some reason the avalanches made me think of other moody music....like Tom waits

I like the song The Piano has Been Drinking

and all of his moody gorgeousness, he is great

Thank you for your reply, Sleepy21 Valued Contributor 😄

Now I'll have to pause Bill Burr's rant and search up Tom waits...

You go DS

Love ur contributions

Hi All.

New to this and my first post.

I feel You Will Never Walk Alone by Gerry and The Pacemakers from 1963, also adopted by Liverpool FC.

When the fans sing at the game its inspiring.

Not my usual kind of music, but for some reason " Thank u" by Alanis Morissette really resonates with me lately

Sarah by Leon Berger

Is on youtube

I like that one, and One Hand In My Pocket by Alanis.

I seem to go back to Tracey Chapman, as well.

And love will tear us apart, Joy Division

I agree! I think all of her songs are very meaningful. Great choice!

Dear All~

When down I really get irked by songs that do not match my mood, if they are of a more cheerful or happy bent they just remind me of my condition and the gulf between me and others.

Such things as Amy Winehouse's - Back To Black suit well
