I was wondering what are your go to songs you listen to when depressed?

Mine is anything Elton John, particularly Don't let the sun go down, i guess that's why they call it the blues, Rocket man., something about the way you look tonight. Anything Delta Goodrem..Sinead O Connor, nothing compares. All cried out by Allure. Flawless by Delta goodrem, Heavy by Delta Goodrem, Life by Delta, Fragile by Delta. Mistaken Identity by Delta.

I listen to my sad songs, drink and normally cry.

i love all these choices!!!

i''m trying to get into the new lorde songs but find them deprssing in a not-so-good-way. Not feeling it. The clip for the new song is too triggering for me

I wonder if there is much difference between the songs you listen to when depressed and the songs that make you feel sad and depressed? Sometimes for me it is the same song, Like a bridge over troubled water.

Personally I like listening to the Misfits when I'm feeling a bit sad. Nothing seems to distract as well as old horror punk. If I'm in the mood to wallow in my sadness and hit that nice familiar, comfortable low, then I'll listen to Soundgarden's "Blow up the outside world" or "The day I tried to live". If things are really bad I can't bring myself to listen to anything at all.

At the moment my song is "Graves into Gardens" . The words speak to be so much. And can often shine light into me and lift me out of the dark.
