Hi chris first of all well done for making the first step. You may not realise it now but I promise you one day you will. You have made the first step to recovery. You have realised there is a problem. Now you have 2 options you can go on seeking help and trust me there is an awful lot of help out there these days. Or option 2 and this is the bad option you just ignore your realisation and carry on the way you normally do. What I would suggest you do is take a pen and paper go somewhere where you won,t be disturbed and just start writing. Doesn,t matter what you write just get it down and let out all those worries. When you feel you,ve written enough you now have to make another decision. You can just burn what you have written. I would not advise this what I would advise is you call beyond blue or any other help line and read out what you have written or look up a beyond blue recommended gp in your area and if you think you can,t tell the gp what the problem is then just show them what you have written. Remember ly you have already made the first step to recovery you must now take the next step and so on. If there is a problem you have the opportunity of nipping it in the bud. You could just search for a beyond blue recommended psychologist in your area. Medicare will fund the first nine visits. Ly I have been hospitalised with major depression on 4 separate occasions over a twenty year period. I have received a lot of therapy and I needed if minute of it. I would not be here if it wasn't,t for good psychiatrist and psychologist. I wish you well ly good luck and try and post again.

I have linked in with so many health professionals and groups, but their not helping not even my own family are supporting me. I thought some of my friends would but their not. They say i can come to them and when i do they turn me away. I'm definately not getting the support I need or expected from anyone.

So far down a dark and stone cold hole that i can't get out off, falling deeper with every passing second.

I'M A LOST CAUSE.

Well done to the so called help friends, family and professionals thanks to you there is going to be one less person in the world most likely within this coming week.

Well at least i won't hav to put up with anyone else's B.S. anymore.

dear Chris, when we have depression we always think that 'we're a lost cause', because there is nothing, absolutely bugger all to even bring a spark to our mind.

All our 'friends' or what we used to know them as, aren't interested in discussing our problems, why should they they just want fun, excitement and what ever turns them on, so this just leaves ourselves to suffer alone.

Chris jump on board, it's the same as what we all have been through, so we know how you are feeling.

At least on this site you won't have anyone turning away from you, nor will anyone criticise or mock you, so it's a safe place to be. Geoff.

Had enough of life, not going to live anymore just keep getting doors slammed shut in my face everytime i try and get help. Don't even know why i bother. This is the first and last time i'm going to get professional help. Should just do it alone like i have done many yrs in the past. I knew i wouldn't get the help i needed now this just confirms it.

Have lost faith, trust and confidence in everyone and everything.

Going to do what i should have done many yrs ago, definately regretting it now.

dear Chris, this is frightening stuff, and you are in a deep black hole and have been for a long time.

Too much rejection from so many people either professional or not, really closes the door to open up to those that are concerned about you, and this is no crap what I am saying to you, I and others want to help you so much, so what I am asking you is to please contact us again, and there is no worry on this site as to what you tell us.

We don't know who you are or what you look like, so there is no way you can be identified, so please we care for you and we understand that life can be hell, and that's what it is at the moment for you. Geoff.

What i'm going through hell isn't even in the same ball park doesn't even come close. I'm so far down i've gone straight through hell without stopping.

There are no words to describe where i am or where i'm going. Falling deepper with every passing second hav given up on life and everything.

Forget it.
