hi Haggybearz, welcome, and can I say is just to google your title ' Looking for a free depression community group north brisbane ', then there are plenty of sites to click onto, as I'm not in Queensland. Geoff.

Hi Haggy
If you can't find anywhere wondering how you feel about starting a group? I'd imagine there'd be a lot of people wanting to talk to others in same situation
Also you might find a lot of useful threads here if you want to have a squiz, depression being sadly very widespread there's a lot being said and much learning which is great. Sometimes it can be simply a sentence that someone says can make a difference
GP also would probs have some info on places too
Hope you find somewhere 🙂
