I may have really messed up this time

I feel like I am the worst person who has ever existed. Nothing ever seems to change things only get worse... all the time. I feel like I have had enough. I don't know how to help myself anymore and I am so tired of trying.

dear Redcoat, I am so pleased that you have joined this site, and by doing so means that you are suffering from some sort of depression.

The title of your post has struck a meaning core, so I hope that you will get back to us.

There is never any fear of anybody having criticism against you here , as all of the many wonderful people have had their struggle or are still trying to cope with it, but this doesn't stop them from replying back to you with so much help, suggestions and definitely support.

Can I say that you may believe that you are the worst person around, but please stop the bus as we want to jump on with you. Geoff.

Hi Redcoat,

Would you like to share a bit more information with us so that we can think about how we might be able to help and support you?

You've joined BB and you've posted ... that's a great start ...

Hi Redcoat

You've already received two lovely responses from Geoff and Katy to your first post and I'm now going to throw my hat into the ring as well.  But before I do that, I'd just like to welcome you to Beyond Blue and for you to post is not only a brave effort but also a very positive step that you've made - a reaching out, if you will, for help.  And you know what, you've come to the right place.  🙂

Redcoat, you sound like you are and have been dealing with some awful things and it sounds to me that it's been for a long time.  Now this is completely up to you, but if you're able to share a few things here, the brilliant folk on this sight (or are all sufferers of this damned awful illness by the way) will be better informed so we can do our very best to try and assist you, give you advice/guidance but above all, we're here to support you.

If you're comfortable in giving us a little bit more information about what's causing you to feel this way, how long it's been, if you've got family or friends who are close to you and whether perhaps, you've had any professional (GP/counselling sessions) assistance.

Redcoat, I do apologise if I've asked too much of you here ... but your initial post was quite concerning and we really want to help you as much as we can.

Kind regards

Neil
