Hi,
Ive been struggling with Depression since May this year. My family tries to understand but my father keeps being too tough. just writing this thread is a massive effort. Ive been hospitalised twice already this year. my confidence is shattered, id love to free myself of depression for good i just need some help getting through it all. Im struggling to concentrate on reading and id love to one day get back to work. my memory has mostly faded and im really really struggling.

Hi Jwidz,
I’m so glad you decided to bravely reach out here. I know depression can make things that we often take for granted many times harder, so I think it’s a big step for you to write here 🙂
Things sound very rough for you at the moment. You sound exhausted, drained and down. On top of that, I feel the lack of understanding from your father must hurt at times...
I think you have some wonderful long-term goals in mind though, such as returning to work later on. But I suppose, for now, maybe it’s about gradually and gently building you up....
Is it okay for me to ask how have you been since your opening post? There’s no pressure to reply, but when and if you’re feeling up to it, it would be great to hear from you again.
Kindness and care,
Pepper
