The BB cafe is open for business!
Welcome all to a new chill and chat place for everyone on the forum.
The BB cafe is whatever you want it to be. There are comfy sofas, tables and chairs, coffee machines, a kitchen stocked with everything. There's a pool outside, a bbq area, an annexe with comfy beds for a quiet sleep, tv, dvd, books and whatever else you would like to have here.
Most of all, it's a place to meet friends and fellow travellers for a bit of company. Talk over problems, tell jokes, share your day, escape into a world of your making. Grab a coffee and pull up a chair ...
So, with a nod to the wonderful Carole King (Hard Rock Cafe) ...
Now if you're feeling just a little bit lonely
Don't sit at home just mopin'
Come on down to where the friendship flows freely
You know the door is always open
At the BB cafe
Come to the BB cafe
They will help keep your blues at bay
At the BB cafe

Hello HanSolo, great to see you here,
My fruit & yoghurt or MC's Chicken & Veg Soup? Or what Monkey Magic brought - a leaky car, with soggy upholstery?😺
As I write, it doesn't look like I'll be getting a storm - but I have my new floaties on just in case.

Hi ham solo and hi mmMekitty and all
I will have some frozen fruit and yoghurt please.
Soup was amazing and it cools you down if you add enough chilli. I topped it with a big scoop of yoghurt and fried shallots.

Hello everyone.
Looks like I'm doing washing today... slack yesterday, oh well. I't's not a tragedy, right?
I froze some sweet red grapes, & it is easy to slice a few & add to cereal, or yoghurt, or pancakes or porridge .... so that's what's on the menu today.
BYO Chilli! I'm going nowhere near it.

hi all. i haven't been on here much, been struggling mentally.
anyway, every year over the march long weekend in my town, there's an art show. it's the 42nd one this year. i think for the 5 years we've been living here we've gone to them all except 1 because it was months after when we moved here.
i love art shows, i got that from my nana. so many amazing artworks and photos.

Hi, robthomaslover
I'm sorry that you've been struggling recently. I hope you enjoy the artshow in your town, with a friendly atmosphere, nice weather etc.... the artshow sounds fun even tho I'm not the biggest fan of art exhibitions. I'm curious about the details tho, I can only imagine there will be artists selling their works in the market.🙂

Hi Robthomaslover, 😸
I'd like to go to art shows, but unless they are 'hands on' sculptural works, I'm not sure what I would get out of them... Or maybe some sound installation? Not too loud, though, would be good?
I did like Dali, how carefully. & precisely he painted. But I also have an emotional tug toward the painting that look like paint is splashed, thrown, smeared or sprayed, or in some other chaotic & haphazard manner. I wish I could let loose & be completely unrestrained & make some big, wild & intensely emotionally expressive paintings.
I feel so inhibited, exactly as when I want to get my anger out, but can't. Not even in anger, could I throw a pot of paint at a canvas.
So, I either envy or admire those who can.

Hi On The Road! 😸 Glad to see you here. How you been?

😺Up early, (no getting back to sleep), so I guess it's my turn to open up & air out this place, sweep the footpath, wash the windows, set up the tables & chairs, get the urn filled & heating up...have I forgotten anything?
...Oh, yes, make sure there is paper in the loo!
Then, so early, I think I'd like some porridge, with sultanas & milk. Sitting in whatever sun there might be out there.
