How often do you prune the tree. Some times you have to prune the thing. Roots don't come out of the branches. they are in the base of the main trunk. Which bring up water and nutrients to the rest of the plant.

Well I don't know if you were being funny but I just cracked up anyway. I know roots don't come out of branches,I was trying to say is it root in the branches cause of to much water in the roots under the ground 😂😂😂😂

I did not know you were meant to prune a frangipani tree?

Every few years you can prune them. You don't have to do much with them. They are the lazy mans tree. But great to grow around buildings or around swimming pools. They can be trained to go one way or another.

what are some of your favourite plants?

The ones that are easy low maintenance. Then when I have to prune mulch it to give me less work so I can sit back and watch it grow. Whilst having my coffee and being with friends. In the shade on a hot day.

I am so excited and couldn't wait to tell you that you have been playing in the garden with me,

Told hubby to get bobcat out and get me some mulch/dirt from the big pile out the front,to put on orchard trees.

OMG the most biggest fattest curl grubs I have ever seen!!!!! Stretched out they were 10cm and as fat as my thumb. We got about 50 it was unbelievable. Thanks for your help you will sleep well tonight.🤗

With your curl grub they love eating plant matter, and root ball of the plant. Solution follows.

Where practical turnover the soil to expose the curl grubs. Remove them by hand and feed to the birds. They love them! Minimize the use of outdoor night lighting as this may attract the adult beetles into the area.

If it's not practical there is a spray put out by Yates that will get rid of them. It may take several goes but will get them out. They love drought affected areas.

Hi all,

I am so excited just had to share!

Was looking at a rehabilitation seed company website on Mum's tablet (because that's how I roll 😊 seeds are fun). And she must've seen the pages I looked at and ordered the seeds as a surprise!

Ooooh I now have 10 grams of sturt desert pea seeds (the one I planted at my block has tripled in size, has braved the frost and is flowering even in the middle of winter!) no joke! Once I've finished the fencing the seeds are going in where I've burnt off. Come summer it is going to be a field of red to burn my eyeballs out!! (Wish me luck)!

And I'm the proud owner of 8 boab tree seeds. If they can grow in Kings Park they can grow at my block. So excited! I love a plant experiment and challenge!
