Hey all,

I have two citrus plants that are infested with leaf miner, I have picked a lot of fruit of them and there is new flowers so I am going to wait before I spray them.

I have cut all infested leaves and branches and will burn them. My question is there seems to be like a ball of smaller branches forming at the ends of main branches, should i cut the end off.

hope you can understand what I'm saying,

When composting one of the best things you can add to your compost is egg shells. It works wonders for your soil.

Hello Kanga,

I have a few issues 😂😂😂

first I have some precious Hibiscus plants that I always grow that are from my Pops home.

There seems to be some little critters that like eating the leaves. I have tried snail bate and white oil, works a bit but not good enough.

What cha got for me.

Two products that control . The easiest to apply and longest lasting is Bayer Tree & Shrub. This is sprinkled on the soil then watered in, and lasts 3 months. I also have used Bayer Advanced 3-in-1,
a spray pesticide that needs to be repeated every 2-3 weeks. For this reason, use at HVH, we find the systemic product, Bayer Tree & Shrub to be by far the easiest and most effective pest control product to control.

Great I will get some.

what about curl grub?????

in lawn vegie patch and also orchard, chooks love me but I don't. Main prob in garden, most stuff says not to eat after applying.

Yates Complete Lawn Insect Control should control curl grub. If you cover the plants using the lawn insect control that should be all right but I am guessing there it could be taken up by the root system so read the warning labels first.

Kanga I need your help

I have three mature frangipani trees all in a row,

They have just finished dropping all there leaves,

This arvo I noticed that there is a lot of rooted branches,I have snapped them all off.

Do you know what's wrong with them?

Have you been watering it? If so stop it they don't like to much water. You only give them water late spring and summer. They don't like to much water in the root system gives them root rot.

Thanks kanga, they do get a bit from irrigation system, I will block them. We did have a lot of rain a couple of weeks ago.

When you say root rot,is that what it is in the branchs,do I just break it as far back as I can?

should I put anything on where it is open?
