Tired

Truetomyself
Community Member
At the moment I feel really tired and exhausted from my anxiety that is now impacting my depression.
I am also tired of having to hide it. Especially with work.
I can't afford to loose my job but I can't say what's really going on.
I am scared and unsure of what to do. I have lost jobs because of my mental health being so up and down.
I have no one to talk about it to.

My aunt is the only one who understands because she suffers the same thing. No siblings. I wish there were.

Isn't your aunt part of your family? (You wished someone in your family would understand.)

can i ask who provides or gives support to your aunt?

Her kids support her and my uncle. I am really struggling. I hate this.

I have no family support. I am struggling with depression and anxiety. It has been really hard. No one understands how hard it is for me.

Hi Truetomyself,

Im really sorry you are struggling today.

Please know we are here as a community to understand and support you.

Can you think of 3 things you are grateful for today?

That’s great that you thought of those two things that you’ve grateful for …….. it’s a great thing to do to think of the things we are grateful for I like to do this when I first wake up in the morning it puts me on a positive road for the day……. I’m grateful to be alive, for my family and just to be able to see all the beautiful things in this life like the beautiful blue sky 😊

Petal22 mentioned some things at the end of their post to be grateful for. Other things could be ... your bear, bed, music (if you listen to it), clean water, color of your eyes, etc. When I was first asked a similar question I had to use google to find some answers! If nothing else ... grateful for this space where we can meet 🙂

Hello Truetomyself,

Like Smallwolf, at my worst times, I coldn't appreciate anything. I didn't have Google back then to help answer the question, & so I had to get on with thinking I was alone, unsupported, un cared for, with nothing. No one was going to help, so I had to help myself. It was that or starve, get evicted, or sleep on the bare floor of my flat.

Of-course getting up took more strength than I knew I had. just as it takes strength for you to continue to talk, as you have been , with Smallwolf. Might this be another thing you can be grateful for, that you have the strength & the presence of mind to talk here, to us?

I want to reassure you, Truetomyself, you are not alone. Some of us, like me, have been as part of the shadows in your room, here & listening, allowing you & Smallwolf some space to talk. I know, it's hard to quite believe we are real people out here, but, yeah, we are, & we're here. 😸
