I have this feeling that something bad will happen soon, but I have no idea why. I get this feeling once or twice a year, and when it happens, I just want to get the feeling to go away. Nothing bad actually happens, but I'm afraid it may also be a sign of something else going on that I'm not aware of. It's really putting me down this time, so I feel like it will just get worse the longer I wait. Can someone please tell me what might be going on? I want to try prevent these feelings from ever happening.
Thanks in advance.

Hi Raisaga and thanks for reaching out for support.
I'm curious have you checked out the questionnaires on the bb website about anxiety?
I haven't experienced foreboding thoughts like these but my husband does frequently. He gets very anxious about needing savings for when something bad happens. In his mind the feelings of worry and dread are very real.
His GP suggested treatment for anxiety. However each case is different. I really think it would be a good idea to have a chat with your doctor. At the least they may be able to connect you with some workshops in your area that can teach you about managing unhelpful thinking styles.
I hope you feel able to keep talking and reaching out to others here.
Nat
