Not really sure what to write, i havnt been on here for three years apparently! Time flys.
I suffer from bipolar , as well as bpd so things can get a little chaotic at times. Things have been especially tough currently with lockdown, home schooling my nine year old, n living with three other people in a small house 🤦
I suffered from a pretty bad breakdown last night, and so decided to reconnect, as I got alot out of being a member of BB in the past.
How is everyone else coping with social distancing and lockdown? Personally I'm on a rollercoaster; one minute loving that I don't have to face the world, next minute in the fetal position crying 🙄
Wishing love and happiness to anyone reading this, you are not alone

Hi Miss Manson
Sounds like have quite a tribe standing beside you!
They all sound like great activities too; though like you, it's raining here too so my fur baby hasn't gotten her cardio in lately, either. At least, not until the mud and sludge clears from our driveway!
For myself, my distractions include study, which like your son's learning, is online right now. I also walk my fur baby when I can. I've been trying to clean my sleep schedule and do some light mindfulness and breathe work too so I can the pesky academic anxiety at bay. I can recommend you some resources if you like?
Looking forward to hearing from you,
Tay100

That sounds great about sending the resources thankyou.
In a couple of weeks I'll hopefully be returning to study and work... Have been really excited about it, up until today ...can't get out of bed or out from the covers 😣 feeling so so alone rn 😞
And my sleep has gone to sh*t , any tips?

Hello Miss Manson,
Have you tried using scented candles before sleeping? I find that it helps relax me enough to sleep well. Try scents like lavender or patchouli, or any other calming scent.
Warmly,
Emmen

Hi Miss Manson,
I also struggle with sleep, so you aren't alone. Emmen has some great suggestions! I'd also like to add that establishing a routine is important, as can eating plenty of fresh plant foods. Have you tried using a weighted blanket? They aren't too expensive but they are a godsent also!
Let us know how you go,

I don't usually take advice.. (even though I ask for it) but I took yours, and I brought a scented candle, it really helped me sleep (two hours earlier than usual) I got rose my favourite scent.
