So tired of being homeless

So many years I have been homeless. I'm so tired. I can't go to housing as I can't handle towns and cities. If only housing had bush blocks where I could build a shelter and just be me. Trouble is I don't know me,I'm so tired of the hand I've been dealt that I wish I could just stop forever.

Another very cold morning in this neck of the bush. Looks like Antarctica out there and feels the part...so I've been thinking of you.

It's reassuring to know you have found a decent shelter from the elements. A dog's company is priceless. A small pack shares the ups and downs of my life.

You are right, life does change. Being proactive and refusing to settle for more of the same can help turn things around. I hope you will find something you CAN do, some stepping stone towards an easier lifestyle.

Good morning bush resident,

Found some information I just wanted to share with you.

Just to let you know every night across Australia more than 105,000 ppl are homeless either living on the street, in boarding houses, caravans, squats, cars, refuges,or sleeping on friends couches. They say that trauma leads to homelessness and homelessness leads to mental health issues.

They're saying the way to put an end to homelessness is to offer more affordable housing.

The expensive rent is what lead me to be homeless. I remember it being too overwhelming paying for so much in life and having to sacrifice paying for things I loved that gave me pleasure and enjoyment. When my life was work and paying rent I was depressed. I was depressed I had to keep paying rent and petrol and have no money left for leisure. I wanted an easier way.

I ended up finding cheaper rental options like renting a room but you're always sharing with people and I learnt the hard way that people can be horrible.

I believe a lot of people find it appealing to go bush. I did. I bought a tent, thermo sleeping bag, camp shower, torch, fishing line to tie on my cats so they would go missing ( that didn't really work out) bcas I wanted free living. Life was too hard for me, I didn't like it.

Received email today. Someone worked out who I am. Thanks for reading my posts BUT that will do.

Thank you

Omg I can't believe it,I'm sorry.

Here if you want to chat,

Be safe
