Hello Everyone.....New posters too!
Its more of a lighter topic for a change from me. I am currently using a 2006 Hewlett Packard Micro tower using the obsolete Windows XP Professional platform.I use my study looking out to my gorgeous garden whilst I am 'on the air'. I am curious what other people use ..whether a cell phone....laptop....PC....Apple...a tablet....an ipad maybe? And where in your home you are comfortable doing so
I am just trying to 'paint a mental picture' of what tool people use and where they post from in their home. The lounge room...in front of their television.....in the garden..home theater...in the car on a mobile phone? Help me paint a picture of where you are coming from so I can 'see' you
Just curious and thankyou for reading my thread too
Kind Thoughts
Paul

Aaaargh...see what I mean ? I never intended to have these dotty paragraphs and blueish highlight...Only realized today I must have clicked on the wrong setting without even noticing. Saw the dots yesterday but couldn't figure in a hurry where they came from. So I'll blame the pesky 4 legged ratbag on my lap, trying to chew the connection cord.
There's a couple of birds who like to come in through the open back door and sit on the laptop (and poop all over the screen), so I must shoo them away too. Not to mention the odd lizard, skink, water dragon, even snakes etc... No kidding, there's bullet holes in my floors. A tiger or brown snake trying to get traction on the kitchen lino is no happy camper. Sometimes, living the dream can turn into a nightmare...but I still wouldn't swap it for town life.
Have a terrific day.

Hi Starwolf and Paul, right above the text box as you reply are four buttons, a bit like the ones you get in Word, that allow you to bold your text, italicise, add numbers or bullet points:
The functionality of how you format your text is very similar to how it works in Word.

Thanks Chris, I actually only became aware of what the option on the far right did after seeing the results the following day. I was mortified, made me feel as if I'd been trying to stand out or something...
Duh !
Paul, good to know you're not as bad as I am...didn't even know the technical name for those things ! Now you know how I do these silly things...very easily. I'm an expert !

Paul, you are kind.
To look at it from a positive perspective, now we know how to highlight and emphasize paragraphs. My mistake should have been more useful in the "Writing in paragraphs" thread... That was the 1st time I came across those bullet points while navigating the forums. Quite a discovery !
Hope you have a good Friday too and a terrific week-end.
