its hard on your own most of the time. going into detox in 8 days time not looking forward it but will go went to a group session today mostly men swearing.am I the only one who gets upset and I am expecting the detox will be the same. my problem is booze thanks to a ex partner and life

Hi went to the group meeting yesterday a women near had done the same course in did one week later than me and she has had follow ups ever day home visits text messages 2or 3 time a day me nothing just text messages saying your appointments has been cancelled. its been 3weeks now and I left the meeting feeling as if I did not count. It was hard listening the women praise the follow up person she had.
earlier I to my dog to the vet another pup had bit her ear just for fun she just barked back but she is in the vets lucky she is insured as the bill will be about $2000 just what you need before Christmas and I drank when I got home after the meeting forgot to take tabs yesterday but will take them now. stopping to pick up my girls from the vets. thanking for reading this post catch up soon donnabalnor

Good on you for going to your meeting. I totally understand you feeling let down in the follow up that you haven't received.
You most certainly do matter. You matter to your dogs, your family and to this community---including me. I love hearing from you.
I think it's more likely that you've encountered someone who just isn't very good at their job. How would you feel about talking to the program supervisor?
You could just say that you feel you would have a better chance of success with additional support at present. Open the door to a constructive conversation and maybe things will improve. It's okay to ask for help and to be specific about what you need.
Sorry to hear about your dog's injury and the unexpected expense. Is it possible to seek financial compensation from the other dog owner? Just a thought.
