This could easily be removed. It is hard to find forums that takes on "real" people.I am educated and have a lovingpartner, yet I sit here, under the influence needing to find others that feel the same that I do.

hello, well this site is full of real people, as all of us have been through our own experiences of depression and this includes any type of depression, and we know what it has done to us or whether it's still going in many cases.
What ever type you are suffering from, there are a multitude of loving and caring people who would only be willing to answer your cry for help, and anyone who posts a comment is taken in as being one of us, so I hope that you can trust us and believe that we want to help you. Geoff.

Dear Guest

Hello. Welcome to Beyond Blue and thank you for your post. I do not know what you mean by BB, or any forum, not taking on real people. Everyone who posts here is real and our problems are also real. Too much so at times.

Also not sure what you mean by "under the influence". Usually that means you have drunk too much alcohol and feel unwell. Is that correct or are you talking about something else. If it is something else, please tell us about it and we can have a conversation. At a guess you are feeling depressed and don't know what to do.

Everyone who write in here wants support, information, sometimes advice and to know someone cares about them. We care about everyone here and want to help them to the best of our ability. I imagine we all feel unwell and we are all broken. No discrimination here.

It would be great if you told us a little more about yourself and asked us questions. You are now one of the gang, as Geoff has said. So write in again and talk to us.

Mary
