Hi Kathryn and welcome to our community forums

Pain is the pits and causes all sorts of other issues, especially anxiety and depression.

My pain is getting worse as I age - finding it in all my joints and bones. My hubby has lived with it for over 40 year and has found various methods to help manage the daily pain - he has a daily routine of yoga, strengthening exercises, palattes. When he does this his pain is reduced to almost non existence. When he lapses, the pain can be excruciating. So it's back to the routine he's found to be successful in keeping the pain at bay.

Not sure if this helps you with your situation. Are you able to share more of your story Kathryn? There's no pressure for you to do so, only if you want to.

Kind regards

Hi Kate,

Welcome to the forums and thanks for sharing your situation with us. Feel free to post as much or as little as you want but we will be here for you always.

I am sorry to hear that you have been suffering for 25+ years and that is not fair and my heart goes out to you.No one deserves to suffer for one day let alone twenty five years. As a result of what you have been through I can tell you are extremely strong, resilient and brave which is a credit to you and these are amazing qualities many of us strive to build up and achieve throughout our lifetime. That is something to be proud of!

If you feel comfortable doing so, would you mind providing us with a bit more information about what your feeling? Everyone here is super caring and non-judgmental and can offer great advice and support that may be beneficial to your situation. Have you received any professional help in the past?

I would love to learn more about you and about your situation.

Have a great weekend and look forward to reading your response shortly.

All the best,

Nick.

Hi Kate,

I am so sorry to hear you have suffered for so long. I had chronic headaches for two years and it was so hard. I cannot imagine 25 years of pain. You are an incredibly strong and brave person. Don't ever forget that. And don't ever forget that there is no shame or guilt in having trouble coping with pain. I hope you find the courage to post more, only if you're comfortable and ready, of course.

I wish you all the best!
