Hi this is my first time I think a forum is so useful for passing on experience to others as we all have a wealth of knowledge and can learn from others as we are all on a journey that has ups and downs and be there for others with respect, hope and sharing our ways of being special and good to ourselves as we deserve the best

Hello Joyjoy, welcome to the forums, and all of us have had our own experience struggling with our type of depression/anxiety, and each day we learn something different, I don't think we ever stop knowing what it all means.

Hope to see around with all of your knowledge.

Geoff.

Hi Joyjoy,

I hope it’s okay if I extend another welcome to you here 🙂

I agree that the forums are a good means to share experiences and learn from one another. I think you have a beautiful outlook by the way...

There’s absolutely no pressure but would you like to tell us a little more about yourself? It sounds like you’ve been through a lot...

Kind and caring thoughts,

Pepper

Hey JoyJoy,

Welcome to the forums and it is great to have you here. It is so important to pass on our knowledge and experiences to each other especially in times where people need it the most. I love everything you have said especially that we deserve the best. Look forward to seeing you around and learning a lot from you.

All the best,

Nick.

I have had an long long lived experience I don't want to appear as a victim but I spent 3years in a psychiatric hospital when I was young but have built a good life as I met an extremely dedicated psychiatrist when I was at a very low point and had psychotherapy. I met some wonderful people in hospitals some who didn't make it but I will always remember them

Hello Joyjoy, your early life must have been awful, and I'm really sorry that you had to spend 3 years in hospital.

Isn't it amazing how our life is able to change once we find a psych. who is able to understand our needs, that's a positive bonus.

As we grow older our circumstances change and we're then involved in other situations, so our mood can also differ from what it once was.

Good to hear back from you.

Geoff.
