Hi everyone
in really lost. My boyfriend just broke up with me out of the blue and I’m beside myself. Two days ago we were planning holidays together and tonight he says he doesn’t feel that connection. I don’t know what’s real and I feel so heartbroken and lost. He was perfect and I don’t think I’ll ever find someone like him and I’m so scared. The thought of him with someone else makes me sick honestly.
I feel so hopeless and alone and I can’t stop crying. I was so scared of this happening and it did.
Really need the guidance from someone, I feel so alone.

Hey trexy,
I am so sorry to hear what you are going through. It sounds really upsetting and painful. Please look after yourself - be kind to yourself and give yourself the time and space that you need to cry and process everything. Do you have people around that you are close to? If so, reach out to them if you can for support - you don't need to talk if you don't feel up to it, but having people around you may help you to feel even just a little less alone and more connected. If you are open to it, sometimes writing down or typing out everything that is going through your mind can be helpful in externalising it and allowing it to have a little less power over you. Try and do something for yourself that you enjoy, even if it something small. Again, I am sorry that I am not much assistance. What you are going through must be so difficult.
We are here for you. Take care.

Hello trexy,
Thank you for reaching out.
I’m deeply saddened to read about what you have been going through. Break-ups are never easy to begin with so I can’t imagine how painful it must feel having the relationship end so suddenly. During these times it’s really important to just surround yourself with a strong support team whether it be close friends, family, or even these forums. I see @Sophie_M has linked some numbers that are really helpful if you want to seek some professional support and advice from the friendly counsellors. Accepting and coming to terms with a break-up is a long and painful process. I think it’s really a case of time will heal your wounds. It’s important to just take care of yourself and try not to ruminate over the what if’s and why’s if you can - it’s definitely really hard though so don’t be harsh on yourself if you just want to cry, vent, and let it all out.
Please keep us updated whenever you feel up to it. We are here to listen to you and support you through this exceptionally difficult time ~
Wishing you all the best and sending you positive thoughts x
