Borderline Personality Disorder

Hello,

After battlingdepression for 13 years and seeing a psychologist and trialling antidepressants, I've finally seen a psychiatrist and been diagnosed with BPD. I've started trialling mood stabilisers now and still see my psychologist.

I'm just struggling to understand this illness. Can anyone explain to me their personal understanding of  BPD please?
