Hi everyone im just wondering what peoples opinions are.... so at the moment im using a chiropractor in conjuction with a physiotherapist and ive recently started using an osteopath. My question is would you remain with all three professionals or would you just go to an osteopath?

Hey Bella,

I have never personally been to a chiropractor or an osteopath. I have seen various physios over the years though, and I found them helpful and professional. My boyfriend's family mainly see chiropractors, and they find them to be helpful. I know very little about osteopaths, so I can't give an opinion. If I were you, I would stick to the physio and chiro you are already seeing, and not see a third professional. Sometimes seeing too many professionals can complicate things, especially if they are not fully aware of other treatments you are receiving for the same problem. This is my opinion, and it is by all means your decision 🙂

Let us know what you decide!

Best wishes,

I forgot to add that asking your doctor (GP) when you next see them is a good idea. If you want to decide soon, then do some 'research' on osteopathy to find out if the condition or pain you have could be further improved by seeing an osteopath on top of the physio and chiro. Is there something an osteopath could do for you that your physio or chiro can't? I just had some afterthoughts, and felt it was worth adding them in case it helps at all!

Hi bellababe

I do not see any of these professionals as I have no need to at this current time. I know doctors refer patients to physios and physios are in hospitals. Based on evidenced based practice only physiotherapists are strongly supported with limited evidence for chiros and not sure about much for osteos. Now doing a google search may tell you otherwise but I would look at journal articles because these are scientifically proven.
