Doctors appts tomorrow, unsure?

I'm feeling incredibly anxious and slightly stressed. At the end of the day if I tell her of what's happened, what more can she really do for me? I don't know what I need medically if anything?
I remember I had one appt with her before I started therapy. She said she can't do much for me if I'm not ready for therapy. I said that I was not mentally strong enough to commit to a therapy process.
I really don't know if I'm wasting my time going tomorrow. I feel as if I go in and she says there is nothing further I can suggest to what you are already doing, I will feel like I wasted my time in going in. She has never really asked questions about my C PTSD nor many questions about my mental health. I feel as if I should postpone it until I know my reasons for actually going in.

Hello 2quik, before tomorrow and if you have the strength then list what has been said by yourself and by others on the threads you have started as well as those that are currently going.
Tomorrow will not be a waste of time, but this is where you need to tell her about your C PTSD and what else is concerning yourself, you can't go there hoping she will ask, you need to mention all of it while you're there, that's why writing it down will jog your memory.
Other ideas may arise by telling her, and expecting everything may not happen, you are there for a reason.
Please let us know how you get on.
Geoff.

Hi 2quick. Best of luck with your appointment.
I think it's essential to have regular check ups with a professional including a GP even if nothing needs to be changed such as meds, etc. plus your professional should be communicating with the GP so you don't have to relay information. It won't be a waste of time, just be honest and say how you're feeling and that you just wanted a check up, nothing in particular. It's okay to do that, this is what long consultations are for, and other serious issues of course. Some GPs don't understand mental health unfortunately but I hope yours does. I'm sure they can do something for you, depending on what you're after.
All the best, good luck. Take care.

Thank you for responding and wishing me luck at the doctors tomorrow. I actually made my own decision to cancel after weighing things up for myself. I honestly believe it would not have been fruitful in any way for me personally. Since my therapist does report back to her when she needs to I found it really not necessary. I need to take care of myself and I also do need a lot of rest and relaxation. I also thought about the CoronaVirus and the impact it is having on me mentally. I don't want to put myself in physical danger on top of what I already have on my plate. I figured that if I changed my mind I could always make another appointment to see her.
