counselling session by video link - my experience

Had my first video link counselling session today. Feel really good about how it went... felt really comfortable with her which is great. She has suggested that maybe my hubby would like to come along with me one time, or have a session without me so he can talk about how he feels and how my depression impacts on him and on our marriage. Have mentioned this to him tonite and he is not completely opposed to the idea so that is great....hope everyone has had a good day 🙂

dear Mrs.Cam, that's a great result.

May I ask how often can you have this video link.

It is also a bonus that your husband wants to jump on board, because his involvement is vital, both for you and your psych. L Geoff. x

Hi Mrs C (ahhhhh, remember the days gone by "These Happy Days are yours and mine - Happy Days)

Mrs C - I sound like "The Fonz".  🙂

Brilliant post - heaps pleasing and encouraging outcome from your video session and to top things off, hubby is ok to get in amongst this and work with you.

That must have a big weight lifted from your shoulders?

So yesterday was the first - must have felt a little 'weird', did it - you know at the start?   Was it in your home?

Once a week is also a good thing - and for times that are set aside, so you'll always know (eg:   ok, 10am on each Wednesday, I've got my vid session coming up) - so you don't have to worry the day and time for the next one - will it be days, weeks or months till your next one.

Way to go Mrs C.

lol Neil...

I go to the community centre and they set up the video link with the Rural In Reach office in Perth.
