Thanks for reaching out here today. We're so sorry to hear that you've been thinking of suicide. We can hear that this has been a really distressing time for you, so we're reaching out to you privately to check in.
Please remember that if at any time you are unable to keep yourself from acting on these thoughts of suicide, this is an emergency and you need to contact 000 (triple zero).
Can we ask, do you have any mental health support? We understand it can be really tough to cope sometimes, especially if you don't have a lot of support from family or friends. If you would like some help finding mental health support, we would recommend that you get in contact with the Beyond Blue Support Service. They are available 24/7 by phone on 1300 22 4636 or on Webchat 3pm-12am AEST on our website: www.beyondblue.org.au/getsupport
Additionally, if you feel it may be helpful, you are always welcome to get in touch with Kids Help Line. They are a confidential and anonymous, telephone and online counselling service specifically for young people aged 25 and under.
Please feel free to tell the community more about what is happening and what is on your mind. We hope that you keep checking in to let us know how you're going, whenever you feel up to it.

Hello Guest678,
A warm welcome to the forums..
I’m sorry that rumours have been spread across your workplace about you and another worker...
Of course you want the rumours to stop..and I think that you maybe could talk to your boss or supervisor about what’s going on with the rumours...and the people involved spreading them...Then ask for a meeting with your boss, the ones spreading the rumours and yourself...Maybe by getting together and talking about and finding out why there doing this...it might put an end to the rumours and your stress...
Your boss should let his/her workers know that respect for each other is paramount at all times..and spreading rumours isn’t acceptable..
Talk here anytime you feel up to it..Sorry Not sure if I have helped at all.... I hope others who can relate to your story will pop in and chat to you..
My kindest and most caring thoughts.
Grandy..

Hi and welcome. The sentiments expressed in the other posts I agree with.
Just to add my 2 cents...
About 3 years ago I was in a similar place. The cause was different but I was in a similar space mentally and it was work related. Back then I did not know much about mental health, at least as it applied to myself or situation. But I made my way to the K10 test on the beyond blue web site and it suggested I chat with my GP. Two days later I did that. I will skip over the intervening stuff... except to say that I see a psychologist, psychiatrist and a supportive GP.
Your coming here and telling part of your story shows strength and courage. My experience is that negative thoughts can be all consuming. I am confident that you have skills, talents, resources to get through this. Listening to you.
Peace and comforting thoughts,
Tim

Hi Guest678
I undetstand those feelings you are having. Its ok to think what you are thinking, but what will quitting or stress leave Really achieve.
have to agree with grandy, that the first place you should start is talking to your boss, and tackle the issue head on.
A workplace is supposed to be safe, bullying and harassment is not to be tolerated. (you can refer to worksafe or fairwork aust for more info).
