To all the beautiful people 🌞
Words placed in a particular order can have a profound effect on us.
Words can bring us a moment of comfort, give us a different perspective, or change the course of our thinking and outlook entirely.
I would like this to be a space where we share quotes that have meaning to us or that have the potential to bring some comfort or encouragement to somebody, even if just for the moment in which they are reading it.
I will start.
Courage doesn't always roar. Sometimes courage is the quiet voice at the end of the day saying, "I will try again tomorrow." - Mary Anne Radmacher
Go gently with yourselves lovely people.

Hello JPeachy.
Welcome to the forums.
I think compassion can be enacted in small ways, that limitations do not restrict. I don't think the Dalai Lama meant large acts or great sums of money.
Mother Theresa said "We cannot all do great things. But we can all do small things with great love".
Thich Nhat Hang teaches that compassion is a verb. That sympathy is something you feel, compassion is something you do, something you choose to practice.
And Jack Cornfield reminds us that your compassion is incomplete if it does not include yourself.
I hope you can have compassion on yourself today JPeachy.
Be well.

Hi JPeachy,
It’s lovely to have you on board here 🙂 Thank you so much for sharing your thoughts, and fair enough, I get what you’re saying.
I was going to write a response but then saw birdy’s thoughtful reply...I don’t really have much to add to what she has said. I think she covered it nicely...
Thanks again for writing in, and I hope to see you around the forums 🙂
Kind thoughts,
Pepper

Let the version of yourself that you were, teach you. Let the version of yourself that you are currently, comfort you. Let the version of yourself that you are becoming, inspire you. You are the version that you need and have needed to be in every phase of your journey.

"You are the power in your world! You get to have whatever you choose to think!
This moment begins the new process. Each moment is a new beginning, and this moment is a new beginning for you right here and right now! Isn't that great to know! This moment is the Point of Power! This moment is where the change begins!"

On being whoever you feel you need or want to be. On self mastery 🙂
Belonging so fully to yourself
that you’re willing to stand alone
is a wildnerness - an untamed,
unpredictable place of solitude
and searching. It is a place as
dangerous as it is breathtaking,
a place as sought after as it is
feared. The wilderness can often
feel unholy because we can’t
control it, or what people think
about our choice of whether to
venture into the vastness or not.
But it turns out to be the place of
true belonging, and it’s the
bravest and most sacred place
you will ever stand.

Don't tame yourself. Free
yourself. Don't quieten
yourself, let your fire
be. Live your life with
heart, with passion. You
are beautiful, electric.
Don't conform. Don't let
the world keep you small.
