Words of comfort, encouragement and wisdom

To all the beautiful people 🌞

Words placed in a particular order can have a profound effect on us.

Words can bring us a moment of comfort, give us a different perspective, or change the course of our thinking and outlook entirely.

I would like this to be a space where we share quotes that have meaning to us or that have the potential to bring some comfort or encouragement to somebody, even if just for the moment in which they are reading it.

I will start.

Courage doesn't always roar. Sometimes courage is the quiet voice at the end of the day saying, "I will try again tomorrow." - Mary Anne Radmacher

Go gently with yourselves lovely people.

Strength and growth come only through continuous effort and struggle

Nothing is more beautiful than the smile that has struggled through the tears.

I will allow space for all the feelings my heart holds.

I will not cower or hide from myself.

It’s okay to feel the ugly messy things.

It’s okay to feel the burning brilliance of beauty.

It’s okay to feel the soft winds of happiness and the quiet bursts of loneliness.

Its okay to feel it all.

It’s okay to be myself, all of myself, not just the good.

Storms make the
earth honest. They
rattle the edges
and tear it to
shreds before
gifting the calm
again. Your own
hardships and
storms do the same
to you. They rinse
you clean. They
paint new colours.
They deepen your
understanding.
They give you a new
language. A
certain sweet
serenity not
previously known.

IHello everyone,

Im reading a book called.. “The dance between joy and pain”. By Dr Mansukh Patel & Rita Goswami RGN...There is a section on hope...There is this poem I want to share with you all, it is written on a large bronze plaque on the wall of the “Institute of Physical Medice and Rehabilitation” in New York City...

Hope gives and forgives

Hope is the law of kindness

The art of generosity

The light of the sun

The rain for the trees

The water for the ocean dwellers

The movement in our hearts

The twinkling in the stars

Courage finds it’s spirit in hope

It’s author is said to be an unknown confederate soldier..

Grandy...

Hope remains with us always..

Hi all. Thats a lovely one Grandy, thank you for sharing. May hope remain for all readers and contributors.

Here is another one for you all:

It is better to have a patient heart that listens, rather than an intelligent mind which speaks.

If "Plan A" didn't work: the alphabet has 25 more letters. Stay cool.

Sadly, I'm up to about plan V...

Thanks for posting these everyone, I come and read every time there's new posts

Be a warrior, not a worrier.

Laziness means more work in the long run.

Everyday may not be a good day but there's good in every day.

Make peace with your past so it doesn't spoil your present.

No one is the reason of your happiness except you yourself.

Smile, you don't own all the problems in the world.

This one is for our dear friends...

On the beauty of friendship...

Friends can help each other.

A true friend is someone who lets you have total freedom to be yourself- and especially to feel.

Or, not feel.

Whatever you happen to be feeling at the moment is fine with them.

That’s what real love amounts to- letting a person be what he really is.

- Jim Morrison

Love,

P.S. Music_Freak, it’s always great to see you here 🙂 I’m so happy to hear that the other quote gave you solace...

Don't wait for things to get easier, simpler and better.

Life may always be complicated.

Learn to be happy right now.

Otherwise, you'll run out of time.
