Hello all,
Sometimes just doing the basics is so hard. It can be tough not to get down on ourselves when we’re struggling with things that ‘should’ be easy.
But we deserve to celebrate even the smallest achievements, because they are really feats of strength when you’re unwell. It’s ok if you can’t do everything. We know you’re doing your best, and that’s enough ☺️
What are 3 small (or big) achievements that you’ve had today?
For me: 1. I washed my hair
2. I drank two glasses of water
3. I sat out in the sun for 15 minutes
How bout you? Let’s cheer ourselves and each other on!

Three achievements today:
1. I made a decision to accept a room in a share house. These kinds of decisions are really stressful for me, so this is a big achievement.
2. Slept in without feeling guilty. So nice to be okay with taking time away from being busy, and just rejuvenate.
3. I hate to put focus on my academic achievements, but I got an excellent grade back, which has really boosted my confidence.

Sometimes even the simplest things are the hardest, but today I did the following:
Washed my hair for the first time in almost a week (I used to wash it every day)
Did a load of laundry & the dishes
Completed a piece of art today. I started it last night, kept me busy well into the early hours, then finished it this afternoon. I’m no artist, but this was decent work. I used to like drawing as a kid, in high school I discovered oil pastels & charcoal. So about 2 weeks ago I went out & got some new art supplies & just started drawing as therapy.
i found if I tried to draw/copy from a photo, that I would become so focused on it that all negative thoughts slip away. It’s really therapeutic. I even have some kids pencils, as fat as crayons so you can’t draw in fine detail with them, but I love colouring with them
Anyway, today is the first time I’ve felt so good about something & proud of myself.

Hi Everyone,
It is wonderful to read about people's achievements. Congratulations to you all.
Receiving excellent grades, doing some art work, being pleased with results and being able to wash you hair are all things to be proud of and to be thankful for.
I did go for a walk yesterday and I sat and spent some time colouring in a "Zen Mindfulness" picture of flowers using 8 colours and experimenting with the combinations.
The Rose, yes I have BPD which does make life a little interesting at times. Ha. Ha. Having a few issues with complex PTSD that has been triggered lately. That is a whole different ball game!
My achievement in that is to realise what is going on in my head, try to adjust and I am reading an informative book on complex PTSD.
Cheers all from Dools

My achievements today so far:
-Managed to wakeup at 8 today (which is super early for me) as I had work at 9. Was running on 6 ours of sleep so pretty happy I didn't completely burn out at work.
- I started sorting through baby pictures of my sister and I as I'm planning to make a scrapbook for her birthday. Crazy how sentimental and emotional you can get looking through old pictures.
- Went out of my way and offered to send my friend home today even though I have work due soon. Seeing how appreciative people are makes even minor inconveniences really worth it.

Hello &hope Everyone on the BB are keeping as well as can be.
My achievements
1. Got dressed with full protective gear on from top to toe with face covered ready for...
2. Drive to the local hardware store, purchased one important replacement garden tool.
3. Making sure that no one came any closer to me than 2 meters -social distancing.
4. Glad to get home & take off the space suit. Shopping isn't easy at any given time yet with severe restrictions this was like camping under a waterfall.

My Big Struggling achievements for (Friday) were:
Got out of bed on a freezing miserable rainy day.
Had brunch with a nice hot cuppa tea.
Struggled so hard to get motivated to do anything. Tidy up. Did dishes & general light housework. Phew.... a lot of hard work after a recent traumatic event. Happy with what I had accomplished 🙂

It’s funny. For me personally, today was a huge step in dealing with my anxiety.
i was invited to a birthday lunch & this alone is enough to set my anxiety off, but then I had the added pressure of meeting new people, having to be involved in conversation & the fear of interacting with strangers, along with the additional threat of Covid still around). That may not be a big deal for most, but as I have 2 autoimmune conditions this really freaks me out.
so I was so very, very close to declining the invite. But I know avoidance is one of the obstacles I need to overcome so I went.
yep, I was anxious, yep I worried I was being judged, yep I felt so uncomfortable I could feel my face trembling. but I did it.
And I’m glad because I was there to help a friend celebrate.
its funny how things like this can be so easy & fun for some people, but for me it’s like trying to climb Mt Everest. Well take that world, I made it to base camp today 💪 😁
