Hello all,
Sometimes just doing the basics is so hard. It can be tough not to get down on ourselves when we’re struggling with things that ‘should’ be easy.
But we deserve to celebrate even the smallest achievements, because they are really feats of strength when you’re unwell. It’s ok if you can’t do everything. We know you’re doing your best, and that’s enough ☺️
What are 3 small (or big) achievements that you’ve had today?
For me: 1. I washed my hair
2. I drank two glasses of water
3. I sat out in the sun for 15 minutes
How bout you? Let’s cheer ourselves and each other on!

Hi Everyone,
My biggest achievement today was to go for a walk on a trail I have been meaning to go walking on for years.
I read more of a book a counsellor recommended and managed to focus on what I was reading and relate it to myself in an informative manner.
Allowed myself to have a rest.

Sounds good Doolhof.
I still need to read a book my Psychiatrist told me to get but I'm not a big reader, I've tried to be but I lose interest in things easily unfortunately, sigh.
Take care everyone.

I caught up with friends I had not seen for years.
I started an easy 20 min exercise session but was puffed after the warm up!!!
I keep trying everyday even when I don't want to.

Talked to some guy (who was in his 60s maybe?) with a Dog on my walk today, with my Dog. Normally I don't talk to people much, not to be rude, just because of my social anxiety. It doesn't sound like much I know.
A couple of days ago I emailed the place where I do Telehealth with, with my Psychiatrist, to pass on a message to him (I don't have his email or anything because of privacy although I wish I did because I'd rather just tell him myself which I will when I see him but still), letting him know that I'm struggling and for them to let me know his response. So I'm anxious about that but my GP suggested I do it, so I tried to.
That's it really, not really achievements let alone big or small.

I think those are both big achievements, Tayla !
• I went out for breakfast in a cafe with family
• drove my grandchild an hour in the car
• stayed away from c virus media
