If you have any good news in your life or seen any good news in the media please let us know in a brief post 😊

Note: I understand and respect this thread topic is not for everyone as any level of anxious/depressive feelings are awful to experience

Just for myself I have a couple of positives

• Peta Credlin on Sky News gave Beyond Blue a huge mention earlier this week
• My mum is still independent and doing well at 90 years of age and her lung function test is 'Normal' and still a smoker! Love you mum x

any good news is welcome...and thankyou everyone for being a part of the Beyond Blue forums too!

Hi Missep123 well done on 4 months, and there is so much that happens behind the scenes where other people don't know about that deserve all the appreciation we can offer.

Any achievement that anybody can do during this year, not only with this pandemic but also struggling with MH is a bonus you should be so proud of.

Tayla it's an accomplishment to still be visiting your psychiatrist and Monkey Magic the 4 WD might be a Jeep, I only say this because they sponsor my AFL club.

All the others know I feel about them and so much love the work they are able to do, so you aren't left out by any means.

Hi everyone, I just LOVE reading everyone's GOOD NEWS!

GOOD NEWS for every ADULT it seems is:

* the Govt handing out 4 x $25 vouchers for use in hospitality, entertainment and tourism... very clever Govt peeps lol.... as you may work out.... hopefully we can ALL use these at some point soon!

My GOOD NEWS is...

* daughter's new boyfriend seems to be a great match

* his family don't celebrate Christmas, birthdays or any other things lol... so that's wonderful news for him because we celebrate EVERYTHING! And he can't wait to get involved!

* my rescue poodle learnt good habits from daughter's dog while we minded her - AWESOME

* my water tanks are FULL

* my fiancee began drawing up my plans for our backyard bungalow - I'm tickled pink about that, it's been in my visualisations for 5 years! Ahhhh nice.

* would you believe that the bungalow's back yard will even have a mulberry and heirloom lemon tree (plus my macadamia lol). These 2 trees sprouted miraculously by themselves lol.

* darling chicken is doing great now after a recent health scare.

Hello Everyone,

It is lovely to read people's good news. We all have so much we can celebrate!

My good news is that Covid Restrictions have eased here in S.A.

During our brief shut down I managed to get a lot of jobs done around the house.

Monkey congratulations on getting some wheels, hope that makes a huge difference to you.

missep123 I agree with you, the support here is wonderful and always a good news story worth telling!

ecomama so much good news from you, thanks for sharing.

Paul, Geoff, Tayla and all so nice to read your messages as well.

- found a great therapist

- Have been having less nightmares...not every single night now!

- libraries are open - books!

- Gatherings are possible so I can get more face-to-face support

- It's my birthday soon

- It's Summer

- I may be able to afford a short trip to be with nature... and legally we can now do so.

- We made it! Through the difficult lockdown in Victoria.... somehow 🙂 Praying we can continue to be healthy and socialise (relatively) freely again

- I have a therapy session tomorrow!
