Hi, Im curious to know if anyone has tried listening to solfeggio frequencies?
I did for the first time a few nights ago, im not the type of person who cries easily but the day after I listened to it I cried many times, at the pet shop trying to buy a collar for my dog whist talking to the store assistant, in a job agency appointment and just on my own. It is so not me to be like that. I think I will listen again one night soon and see if it happens again.

Dear Lilly18~
I know some of the idea behind this scale, which I believe was used in Gregorian chants which were found uplifting even though they had limited overall range. There is an interesting channel on YouTube called Ritesound that has transposed a number of Beethoven works to this old scale. I'm listening now to their version of the 9th symphony.
I have a sneaking feeling Beethoven's native power is swamping any other effect, however that's just me. I'll look for something simpler later.
Thanks for bringing up such an interesting topic, this mode of music may well be a help, at least to some.
