Hi everyone..
Their are days when just getting out of bed is a huge achievement...Other days we can achieve things like washing up the dishes or clothes, sweeping the floors, mopping the floors..very mundane and automatic robot like chores for the mentally well...They do these chores without even thinking about them...for people struggling with their mental health..these are huge tasks...
Very often I’ll get my vacuum cleaner out to vacuum ...then it will sit their for days, me looking at it, walking over it...until I can get motivated enough to vacuum..after I do find the motivation to vacuum...I am pleased with myself...
Right now I have a small foot cycling peddle machine, sitting on my front veranda..I got it out last week..to start exercising..it’s still their, I’m still looking at it...My thoughts each night is I’ll use it for a few minutes tomorrow..
My car hasn’t been washed getting close to a year now I think...Today I did managed to wash it....and discovered that it has a nice shine on it.....I did it...I achieved something positive today..which made me feel better in myself...
Have you achieved a little something today...and how did it make you feel...If you want to share that achievement it might make other people a bit more motivated to achieve something they need/want to do..
Looking forward to hearing about your achievement....and how it made you feel..
Little steps and achievements can lead to bigger steps..and bigger achievements...
My kindest and most caring thoughts...everyone.
Grandy...

That's not a small achievement Eagle Ray, getting clarity about handling a problem situation sounds like a great achievement!

where I volunteer there is one person who really annoys me and sometimes, I am tempted to tell how I find the person self-absorbed, but I just smiled when the person spoke to me/ Life is too short letting others upset my day.

Dear Quirky, I really like your small achievement for today. Mine was a little bit similar. I just spent a couple of hours on a complex Centrelink form then the system crashed and is now inaccessible. I have no idea if any of my work is saved. But I remained calm and went "oh well" and I'm now going off to have my dinner.

Quirky and ER, I really love the theme of moving on after an inconvenience instead of dwelling on it. I've also been trying to do that lately, and it makes such a difference. The other day, I made a wrong turn while I was driving and there was no way to turn around for about ten minutes, and instead of blaming myself or getting upset, I just started laughing.
My small achievement today was writing an updated cover letter and applying for several jobs, which is something I've been meaning to do for a while. 🙂

sbella, I have done the same thing driving. I think laughter is the best response 😂 Well done on the cover letter and doing the job applications.
My achievement today was resting in bed for a long time. I actually woke up at 5:15am but felt like I just needed to rest and stayed in bed a long time simply just resting. A really simple thing but I needed it.

Thanks ER! Resting would've felt good after waking up, I did that too this morning. I suppose it's almost meditative, which is nice.
I went on a lovely walk with my family today, taking advantage of the beautiful sun. It was good to socialise with my mum and get some sun/exercise at the same time.

Sbella, that’s lovely you had the walk with your family today. It sounds like beautiful weather too.
My small achievement was putting air in my car tyres. It’s so easy to say I’ll just do it another time when I’m at the service station but I knew I really should check it and one of the tyres needed it too. I now have that peace of mind that I’ve attended to it.

Hello everyone….🤗..
You’ve all done so well with you’re achievements…sbella, I love the sound of you going for a walk with your family, it’s been many years since I took a walk….I can’t do it by myself and no one I know well enough does walks…It’s really lovely that you can do that with your family and make lasting memories…
Eagle Ray, I agree with Happy Sheep, that getting clarity and being able to manage your situation better is a huge achievement …..I’m so sorry about your Complex Centrelink form crashing…that would have had me in tears…you done so well the way you handled it…I seem to forget to put air in my tyres until my car doesn’t steer as good as it should…I think it’s because I don’t like doing it…I seem to end up with dirty hands and a sore back…..
I do enjoy reading all you’re achievements….they are very inspiring and helps others to realise that just everything we do is an achievement and we all should feel pleased with ourselves for achieving them…
Quirky, well done giving that person a smile while she was talking to you…
My achievement today was cooking dinner for the first time in weeks for myself….I had overcooked air fryed pumpkin…mmm love the little crispy burnt corners and the squishy inside and 2 pieces of Southern Style Chicken wings (frozen) I also air fryed….I can assure you all it was very yummy…
I also went to my cardiologist at his cardio clinic (1.5 hours drive) then walked the treadmill for a few minutes with heaps of wires attached to me…I felt like a robot 🤖😂…looked at my heart on tv…..after all my tests and travelling, 4.5 hours had gone by…then I drove back home to cook my above mentioned meal….I did a lot today…time for bed soon 🥱😴..
Hugs everyone with my care and love…🤗🌈❤️.
