Small achievement you managed to do today....How did it make you feel? Did it help you feel better today?

Hi everyone..

Their are days when just getting out of bed is a huge achievement...Other days we can achieve things like washing up the dishes or clothes, sweeping the floors, mopping the floors..very mundane and automatic robot like chores for the mentally well...They do these chores without even thinking about them...for people struggling with their mental health..these are huge tasks...

Very often I’ll get my vacuum cleaner out to vacuum ...then it will sit their for days, me looking at it, walking over it...until I can get motivated enough to vacuum..after I do find the motivation to vacuum...I am pleased with myself...
Right now I have a small foot cycling peddle machine, sitting on my front veranda..I got it out last week..to start exercising..it’s still their, I’m still looking at it...My thoughts each night is I’ll use it for a few minutes tomorrow..

My car hasn’t been washed getting close to a year now I think...Today I did managed to wash it....and discovered that it has a nice shine on it.....I did it...I achieved something positive today..which made me feel better in myself...

Have you achieved a little something today...and how did it make you feel...If you want to share that achievement it might make other people a bit more motivated to achieve something they need/want to do..

Looking forward to hearing about your achievement....and how it made you feel..

Little steps and achievements can lead to bigger steps..and bigger achievements...

My kindest and most caring thoughts...everyone.
Grandy...

Hi Sleepy,

Well done you!!... I had that problem with my work computer (back when I worked) & I just lived with it... I never even thought to look for a fix or even that there might be a fix out there on the web.

i bought a little succulent for my house. Nice little addition and forced myself to go into bunnings and purchase it which usually gives me anxiety.

Hello All. My achievement for the day was I struggled so much to get out of bed in the afternoon.Heated up some porridge, made a cup.of tea. I'm very sad - low - yesterday and Everything is a big effort. How did I feel? Terrible. Didn't feel any better or happier. Regards.

My small achievement that I did yesterday was I had Shepherd’S pie for dinner. Which I thoroughly enjoyed. And I also plugged in my lava lamp and danced around of 70s funk music, madly, around my living room. It was enormously fun!

I once danced all night until I couldn't walk anymore. I wondered why I had never done it before. It's a great coping mechanism.

Said no to someone calmly and politely, and explained a reason behind the rule. I have trouble asking people to follow a rule at work so was I pleased I did it.

Hi Quirky. I'm so happy to hear that you had the courage and strength to say "no" in a calm and polite manner. When people see your inner strength come to the fore by saying "no" to whatever it is, you have gained mastery them. You have become a strong person and they won't like it.. a lot of people don't like to gear others say "no" them as it often means that they have lost their control over you. There's nothing wrong by you saying "no" when your resources call for it. All the best. Regards
