Looking for a friend

Hi guys

im really embarrassed to say this but I’m feeling very very lonely and stuck and I’m just so desperate for a friend. I’m really not in a good place right now. I know I should see a professional but for some reason I feel like chatting to someone going through similar issues.....

But not having to wait hours for a reply. Is there anything else?

By the way if someone googles my email or name will I show up on here?

I see how long it takes for replies to be posted here, sometimes it is a long wait and you needed someone to talk to then, not an hour later.

If someone could provide a link to an open chat room that runs 24/7 we could all benefit from it.

I got divorced (the first time) when I was in my early 20s. My partner of the time had forbidden me to have any friends, so when we broke up it was a very bleak outlook I faced.

I found just being around people helped, I would go to shopping centres or the library, eat dinner at a food court. We are social animals and at our best when in the company of others. Look around, you will see others in the crowd who are there to enjoy the company too.
