Hey all,
I was browsing around, and stepped upon some employee-friendly guidelines from the Canadian government to their employees. I thought it was worth a share.
-----
1) You are not "working from home", you are "at your home, during crisis, trying to work".
2) Your personal physical, mental, and emotional health is far more important than anything right now.
3) You should not try to compensate for lost productivity by working longer hours.
4) You will be kind to yourself and not judge how you are coping based on how you see others coping.
5) You will be kind to others and not judge how they are coping based on how you are coping.
6) Your team's success will not be measured the same way it was when things were normal.
-------
Honestly, most of those pointers should be used outside of a pandemic as well. Thoughts?
Kindly,
Volk

Hi Volkerballoon (Volk)
Thanks for posting- we appreciate having you here. Posts like this can really help and uplift people and build the kind of community we love on the forums. Actually, it was exactly what I needed today- especially the first one. For some people, working from home is nothing new, but for others, it can really be a whirlwind and create workplace anxiety. But these are also unprecedented times and so little reminders like this can benefit everyone, so cheers Volk!
