A Bouquet for Pearls - share your appreciation for other members

Every now and then, members share a beautiful Pearl of Wisdom. How often do you think to yourself; "OMG that's great! I wish everyone could see this."

Presenting someone with a bunch of flowers is a generous way of acknowledging their insightful words.

I hope this thread stays active through members giving out praise regularly to people they feel deserving, and therefore keep generosity of spirit alive within the pages of BeyondBlue Forum.

My bunch of Red Roses (my choice) goes to Wishful for the following sentence;

  • 'Personally, I see no reason to be praised in me, but I'm learning that seeing through the eyes of others can be more accurate!!'

I so hear you Wishful. Just beautiful...

  1. Try to keep your leading comments short to focus on 'their' words.
  2. Choose specific flowers (or a gift if you like) to present to them.
  3. Sign off respectfully and sincerely.

I hope this takes off...

Spreading the love...Sara

Thank you Paul and everyone,

I wasnt expecting this, so I am so humbled and honored that you think of me this way,

This site has helped me more than people may know, its cleared my head and allowed me to see solutions. I just wanted to pass the buck on and help others with my views, as my way of "repaying" the help I received.

I have liked to help people in the past, but since being here, it has allowed me to try and help more people,

Again, thank you and I want to keep providing help,

Terry

Congratulations Terry. We have all seen the valued comments you make to others. It is satisfying to tread your own path and use the experiences and knowledge gained on your journey for the benefit of others. Great stuff.

Dear Terry~

I always look forward to seeing your (Rummikub?) smiling avatar, which strikes me as friendly, but with a hint of seriousness, just like your posts which I've also come to admire.

Like all the others here I think you certainly deserve the recognition

Hello all,

Have you ever read a post and thought far out I wish everyone could see this?

Here is part of a post from a member called therising who I'm quietly in awe of. I hope it helps you too.

You are not who you think you are. The truth is you are someone who is yet to understand the language of your soul.

You are also someone who has things to 'unlearn' so as to discover the greatest version of yourself.

Remember, we are ultimately taught our identity from the day we are born yet we rarely ever question our teachers' version of the truth or their intentions.

Hey Quercus 🙂 and all

therising that's amazing. So much wisdom. Well done 🙂

Thanks for sharing that darl

That'd be a perfect one for Birdys (Tweety) "words of comfort and encouragement" thread.

Nat DB and everyone,

I have admired the risings posts and the words you quote are quite inspiring. The rising also wrote some words today I read about girls at school being mean and what that may mean.

I find theriisng words a like a comforting quilt of reassurance and wisdom.

Thanks for mentioning them to us.
