A Bouquet for Pearls - share your appreciation for other members

Every now and then, members share a beautiful Pearl of Wisdom. How often do you think to yourself; "OMG that's great! I wish everyone could see this."

Presenting someone with a bunch of flowers is a generous way of acknowledging their insightful words.

I hope this thread stays active through members giving out praise regularly to people they feel deserving, and therefore keep generosity of spirit alive within the pages of BeyondBlue Forum.

My bunch of Red Roses (my choice) goes to Wishful for the following sentence;

  • 'Personally, I see no reason to be praised in me, but I'm learning that seeing through the eyes of others can be more accurate!!'

I so hear you Wishful. Just beautiful...

  1. Try to keep your leading comments short to focus on 'their' words.
  2. Choose specific flowers (or a gift if you like) to present to them.
  3. Sign off respectfully and sincerely.

I hope this takes off...

Spreading the love...Sara

Awww ... really Paul? I love tulips. Thank you.

I would also like to show my appreciation particularly to Suez, Birdy, Ggrand (Karen) and Paul for all the support you have each given me over the past couple of weeks. I could not have done it without you all.

I'll give you each a handful of very beautiful mixed coloured freesia's. An old fashioned flower, and one of my own Mums favourite bulbs when I was a little girl. Are you okay with flowers too Paul? I hope so. 🙂

Amanda

Hey Amanda.....(and thankyou for your wonderful post :-))

I have a rose garden here in vic...a small one...but I remember Tulips when I was a kid growing up in Canada.

Old fashioned Freesia's are beautiful. I really love flowers....always have... and always will Amanda

Hell Amanda,

Thank you very much for the freesia's they are one of my favourite flowers, I grew them in abundance while I lived in the city, I tried to grow them here In the central west without success. I will put these beautiful freesia's in a special place in my heart to look at when I need them.

Kind thoughts always,

Karen (Grandy)

Hello Amanda,

i am so sorry I forgot to put the o on hello, wow how a word can change if letters are left out, I feel awful, I am really sorry.

Karen

Freesia's have a most beautiful scent. Gardens with them fill the air as you pass by. My nan used to have freesia perfume. Even back then it was considered old fashioned. I prefer the real thing..

A lovely gift..

Hello everyone

Demonblaster - thank you so much. I've just found this thread..... can't see for looking. Not good in the observation side of things. Anyway now found. And I present to you a bouquet of protea for all the wonderful support you give to others even when you are troubled yourself. Fantastic!

I have quite a number of bouquets to give out:

White Knight (Tony WH) a bouquet of banksias with little fairy wrens hopping around for you to photograph - you're a legend!! With everything you have lived through, you are so supportive of others. I just loved that poem you wrote for Karen. Beautiful!!

Grandy (Karen) a bouquet of daffodils to help you through your troubles. No complements or gratitude, other than I like reading your posts.

Mrs Dools a bouquet of roses. You were one of the very first people to greet when I arrived on these forums. I love your posts you always have something encouraging and positive to say. Thank you.

White Rose a bouquet of tulips. For your much needed views on various aspects of mental health issues. Greatly appreciated - especially those regarding psychs.

Blondguy (Paul) a bouquet of irises. You have also popped up in my threads giving me your support and your experience. Always a positive experience. Thank you.

Geoff a bouquet of native flowers. Congratulations on your new role. I have read many of your threads - you've been providing assistance to so many over the years. Lovely work.

Mandy8 (Amanda) a bouquet of water lilies (I know you like these). You are awe inspiring. Thank you for all the work you do to generate discussion on so many issues that we probably all need to know about. Love it. Thank you.

Bindi a bouquet of grevilleas and bottle brushes. You were one of the very first people to make contact with me! Your persistence with me and also challenging me is greatly appreciated. Great stuff. I feel i need to be challenged to help me move on. So thanks.

Now there are so many others out there who I think deserve a bouquet because of their ongoing support and openness ....i'm running out of characters (LOL). So I've really only mentioned those who I've had most contact with. But I have read so much here from others. It's such a supportive environment and I'm so pleased to have found it.
