A Bouquet for Pearls - share your appreciation for other members

Every now and then, members share a beautiful Pearl of Wisdom. How often do you think to yourself; "OMG that's great! I wish everyone could see this."

Presenting someone with a bunch of flowers is a generous way of acknowledging their insightful words.

I hope this thread stays active through members giving out praise regularly to people they feel deserving, and therefore keep generosity of spirit alive within the pages of BeyondBlue Forum.

My bunch of Red Roses (my choice) goes to Wishful for the following sentence;

• 'Personally, I see no reason to be praised in me, but I'm learning that seeing through the eyes of others can be more accurate!!'

I so hear you Wishful. Just beautiful...

1. Try to keep your leading comments short to focus on 'their' words.
2. Choose specific flowers (or a gift if you like) to present to them.
3. Sign off respectfully and sincerely.

So this one is for Nath (Pysis).

I would like to award him an epic art exhibition where he has full creative control of the whole exhibition in terms of staging, lighting, etc.

The reason is I think it takes immense courage to go against the grain in order to stay true to one's sense of self- which Nath does. He has been treated very unfairly at times for staying true to his authentic self yet continues to remain who he wants to be. I respect that so much.

Also, his open mindedness, tolerance and acceptance of people is beautiful (especially as not all of his community is nearly as accepting).

So here's to Nath. Just keep being you is all there is to it.

CMF - Wow! As you know I've been away for 2 weeks, only arriving home tonight. I just saw the Bouquet of Roses you have nominated for me 2 weeks ago. What a nice idea this thread is ... good one Sara. And how lovely to arrive home to a lovely bunch of roses. Mind you I'm not so sure I'm worthy of all the lovely things you said of me .......... but I thank you most sincerely. I will do my best to live up to what you expect of me. (-: Hugs.
