A Bouquet for Pearls - share your appreciation for other members

Every now and then, members share a beautiful Pearl of Wisdom. How often do you think to yourself; "OMG that's great! I wish everyone could see this."

Presenting someone with a bunch of flowers is a generous way of acknowledging their insightful words.

I hope this thread stays active through members giving out praise regularly to people they feel deserving, and therefore keep generosity of spirit alive within the pages of BeyondBlue Forum.

My bunch of Red Roses (my choice) goes to Wishful for the following sentence;

  • 'Personally, I see no reason to be praised in me, but I'm learning that seeing through the eyes of others can be more accurate!!'

I so hear you Wishful. Just beautiful...

  1. Try to keep your leading comments short to focus on 'their' words.
  2. Choose specific flowers (or a gift if you like) to present to them.
  3. Sign off respectfully and sincerely.

I hope this takes off...

Spreading the love...Sara

This one is for Cornstarch. I could be wrong but I get the impression she isn't the kind of person who is into virtual gifts.

But on the off chance that I'm wrong, how about a new field for her to grow more corn?

Anyway, I wanted to swing by to give an honourable mention to her very insightful and powerful post that she left on Sara's main thread "Getting to know you or is that me." Plus I kind of hope you guys will read it too...

Let's just say I took a screenshot of it and my jaw hit the floor when I read it. Left me a little speechless and made me question my own intelligence. Seriously, check it out...it's confronting in a way but she makes a lot of sense.

Seriously, Cornstarch's post (see above) was so good. I'm so impressed that I'm posting twice about it lol (see above).

If there was such a thing as a "perfect post", hers was about as close as you can get. Blunt as f*** but so insightful and raw with a cold truth thrown in. No romance or holding back. Really powerful. Maybe it's not for everyone but it's still very insightful. I highly recommend that you check out her post on 16 August 2017.

Amazing, thanks Paul! 🙂

I 300% agree with you. Intimidatingly and scarily insightful indeed. I feel like a 2 year old writing compared to her. Lol. Yes, everyone, follow that link and take a screenshot 🙂

Ptsd, insight and intelligence on a good day in all its glory. Well expressed Corny.

Hi,

I just wanted to post to say "thank you" to Just Sara (Sara).

She already has an extravagant OTT garden with state of the art facilities but I suppose we can add maybe a treehouse, greenhouse and games room.

The reason that I wanted to make this honourable mention was I think some of Sara's posts on her main thread helped me come to a revelation about myself. It's amazing when reading and replying to others' posts bears fruit in unexpected ways. I'll throw in some mango trees in your garden as well 🙂

Love,

Pepper xoxo

Positive feedback's always a winner Pepper...thankyou.

The same goes for your posts too you know. When it resonates, it helps. Sometimes we're not ready, but down the track we are. It just is.

I love mango's and cook with them often. A games room with a pool table would be exciting, thanks. (What can I say; misspent childhood. lol)

Inspiration comes from everywhere, nature especially. Seen any birds lately P-girl?

Gratefully yours;

Sez xoxo

Thanks Sara. I just ramble and blab...nothing much to be gained from my many musings. Lol.

Funnily enough I have seen a lot of birds. Specifically ones that have lately taken to flying past in close proximity to my head (often missing by cm lol).

Today there was a small bird acting strangely above me. Just kept flying around in these circles above me. It did that till another bird came along and the 2 flew off together. It made me smile 🙂

I love the green eyed cat avatar btw!

Love you,

Pepper xoxo
