Every now and then, members share a beautiful Pearl of Wisdom. How often do you think to yourself; "OMG that's great! I wish everyone could see this."
Presenting someone with a bunch of flowers is a generous way of acknowledging their insightful words.
I hope this thread stays active through members giving out praise regularly to people they feel deserving, and therefore keep generosity of spirit alive within the pages of BeyondBlue Forum.
My bunch of Red Roses (my choice) goes to Wishful for the following sentence;
- 'Personally, I see no reason to be praised in me, but I'm learning that seeing through the eyes of others can be more accurate!!'
I so hear you Wishful. Just beautiful...
- Try to keep your leading comments short to focus on 'their' words.
- Choose specific flowers (or a gift if you like) to present to them.
- Sign off respectfully and sincerely.
I hope this takes off...
Spreading the love...Sara

Stressless, I am lost for words. Thank you for your kindness.
We may not meet in person but I feel I know much about you, such as your generous spirit to everyone, even your mom. I am about to plant some roses and now they will always remind me of you.
Maybe we will meet one day walking down the street. I will know you by your lovely smile (and the halo). 🌼

Hi. Mary
You are very welcome and also very deserving I have a mental picture of everyone I talk to on BB , but yours is always clearer than most.
I can see the years of a sometimes hard life in the lines on your face, but they are softened by the creases of easy loving smiles and dancing eyes.
You walk with purpose although sometimes hindered by pain , and are always ready to help others you meet who may not be as able but probably have your age.
You deserve everything good life has to offer you my beautiful Rose- I will also think of you whenever I see roses 🌹 🌹
Stressless

Hi everyone,
I would like to send a bouquet of pink daisies to Sara today for this pearl....
I think being able to accept love without question when it's offered, is a form of self love.
I had never thought of that. I had heard of building self esteem by accepting compliments but accepting love? What a wonderful thought.
Thank you Sara. This is worth thinking about more.

I'm happy you picked up on that one Quercus;
It means much to me, especially today. I've been the recipient of love, and have given mine without wanting anything in return...unconditional.
Love is a provocative subject, and elicits views that deep down are probably the same.
Pink daisy's sound beautiful. Are they the one's with a yellow centre and seem to have a sheen on the petals? If they aren't it doesn't matter, I'm grateful and in awe this thread is still producing quotes that evoke healing and recovery.
My best...
Sara xo

Hehe Sara they can be whichever pink daisies you like best 😊.
I want to share something today which has hit home in such a profound way. Maybe it will help others too.
Thank you Mary for pointing out something I didn't notice about my posts which is truly important. I would like to give you a kardinal rose for your potted rose garden. It is dark red and smells wonderful. Thank you my friend.
Giving yourself orders sounds really good but are you going to carry this through?
There is a school of thought that says when you mention wrong or incorrect thoughts and actions, such as stop sabotaging yourself, what you actually retain is the instruction to continue with the sabotage....
So can I get you to rewrite your letter and change all the negatives to positives? There are quite few there. I have counted at least twelve. It may mean omitting some of your thoughts. That's good. No need to reference the negative.
Do others do this too? Think they're giving themselves a positive message but wording it all in negatives? Look at your posts. I got a bit of a shock. Luckily we have a community here who can point out when we aren't helping ourselves!

Hi everyone,
Today I would like to spare a moment to honour Just Sara (Sara) who has touched the lives of so many here with her compassion, insight and wisdom. But I think it's the light and love that shines through most of all.
You see parts of herself not only on her own threads but also in her replies. She generously gives and shares so much of herself here. We are all better for it...
I often think that life is unfair. I wish for more and better for her and it saddens me to know that she has been through so much pain and loss in her life. But her spirit is strong and her message of hope and love is even stronger. With that in mind and with admiration...
I would like to award a no expenses spared, extravagant garden in her honour that comes with its own water features (yes, plural), a gazebo, pool, sauna and an array of flowers from orchids to lilies to sunflowers. I don't know much about horticulture so have no idea which flowers grow in which climate but we will make it work. I am also hiring a full-time jazz band to play any jazz number that she requests 😉
I leave you with her own poem:
**Love's in Season**
When light beams, skin glows
Where snow falls, darkness knows
When river runs, freedom flows
Where leaves brown, wind blows
Summer, Winter and Spring, Fall,
When seasons hope...Love Grows!

My response?
Tears obviously; lots and lots of them...you know me so well Pepper. All of what you've given as well as a Jazz band! Who could ask for more? I'm humbled and thrilled...thankyou
When one plants seeds, we want not only to watch them grow, but to revel in their beauty once mature. That's how I approach this forum; I watch as we all grow and mature into beautiful souls from wounded seedlings living underground.
Some take longer than others, some are glorious thornless roses while others are thistles with purple flowers. But all have a purpose and right to grow and exist despite their origins.
And then there are those who 'gel' with us; befriend us; complement us. Pepper, my once thought lost friend, I'm blushing with pride and joy knowing I've made a difference in this complex world of ours thanks to feedback from people like you. You've been infectiously likable/lovable as my friend; an example of youthful creativity, wisdom and strength.
Long live those who've gone the distance and continue to fight the good fight with each other by our side! Long live BeyondBlue!
Sara xoxo

Pepper,
I have no words to say how much I like and agree with your wonderful tribute to Sara.
I had now rods to express how I feel but you did it so beautifully.

Hi Sara,
I'm so glad that you saw my post today 🙂 I meant every word of it (and it looks like Taurus and Quirky also agree with my sentiments).
I'm a little speechless at your response- deeply moved. Yes, I do see your nurturing nature on these forums. I see how you try so hard to make sure each person feels his/her life is a worthwhile one and that we all have a right to exist and be heard.
As for your compliments...I'm tearing up. I don't know how to respond other than to say thank you, and I'm so glad that my words helped to lift you that teeny tiny bit today (despite your tears).
Words are all we have on these forums to communicate. Life is uncertain, and while I remain hopeful...who knows what will happen tomorrow so if I care, I am trying harder to tell people that because we don't always get a second chance. Sending you loving thoughts...
Taurus and Quirky- I appreciate the gentle support and encouraging words immensely. I'm also glad (but unsurprised) that you feel the same way about Sara 🙂
Love,
Pepper xoxo
