A Bouquet for Pearls - share your appreciation for other members

Every now and then, members share a beautiful Pearl of Wisdom. How often do you think to yourself; "OMG that's great! I wish everyone could see this."

Presenting someone with a bunch of flowers is a generous way of acknowledging their insightful words.

I hope this thread stays active through members giving out praise regularly to people they feel deserving, and therefore keep generosity of spirit alive within the pages of BeyondBlue Forum.

My bunch of Red Roses (my choice) goes to Wishful for the following sentence;

  • 'Personally, I see no reason to be praised in me, but I'm learning that seeing through the eyes of others can be more accurate!!'

I so hear you Wishful. Just beautiful...

  1. Try to keep your leading comments short to focus on 'their' words.
  2. Choose specific flowers (or a gift if you like) to present to them.
  3. Sign off respectfully and sincerely.

I hope this takes off...

Spreading the love...Sara

Hi everyone ☺

Today I wanted to share a quiet little post that to me was what these forums are all about. Kindly and gently supporting eachother.

A bouquet of daisies for you 9 names later (aka Later) and some garden greens and herbs (for your ducks). For this post to CMFs inspirational words...

I could feel myself growing stronger reading your post. You write beautifully.

I loved that. Gently and kindly showing appreciation for another. I know you say sometimes that you worry you don't write well. There is the proof that your words are beautiful too.

9names is someone who doesn't hold back on showing appreciation. It is good to feel acknowledged when we have managed to make someone feel a little better. Thank you.

I agree those random acts of kindness deserve recognition and a bunch of bush winter flowers from my wilderness. Being in rare supply this time of year, I've added interested foliage in varying shades of green...after shaking off resident insects 🙂

Sorry about the typos...it is still only 5 C here. Fingers and brain are too stiff to work.

I want to give a bouquet of lavender to Quercus for not one quote in particular but for all her thoughtful and caring comments.

Thanks Quirky

Thank you Quirkywords for making my day. And for the lavender... maybe it will help me sleep!

I love it when there is a new post on this thread it's the first one I check because it makes me happy.

So your message was the first thing I saw and I got a bit choked up 😊.

I'd like to give a bouquet of orchids and lilies to our moderators.

The work they do behind the scenes, checking and moderating our threads if Needed, shouldn't go un noticed.

I'd like to give a bouquet to a whole thread: Mindfulness .. and I would like to thank bling guy(Paul) for starting it and for everyone who has contributed and especially those who have been patient wth my questions and my struggle with the concept of mindfulness. So one huge bouquet of fragrant native Australian flowers.

Paul set the scene for the thread inviting people to contribute who were confused or who had questions. This encouraged people to contribute with their ideas and experiences.

So thanks to everyone
