A Bouquet for Pearls - share your appreciation for other members

Every now and then, members share a beautiful Pearl of Wisdom. How often do you think to yourself; "OMG that's great! I wish everyone could see this."

Presenting someone with a bunch of flowers is a generous way of acknowledging their insightful words.

I hope this thread stays active through members giving out praise regularly to people they feel deserving, and therefore keep generosity of spirit alive within the pages of BeyondBlue Forum.

My bunch of Red Roses (my choice) goes to Wishful for the following sentence;

• 'Personally, I see no reason to be praised in me, but I'm learning that seeing through the eyes of others can be more accurate!!'

I so hear you Wishful. Just beautiful...

1. Try to keep your leading comments short to focus on 'their' words.
2. Choose specific flowers (or a gift if you like) to present to them.
3. Sign off respectfully and sincerely.

It's lovely to see people acknowledging our greatness and caring.

I'd like to throw rose petals from the hilltops on the parade of amazing people on this thread. Pearls of wisdom and heartfelt intent with kindness and warmth. It doesn't get any better you guys...

Kindness, empathy and compassion, the reasons we exist on this planet.

I could also add the amazing quality of humility.

Humility, to help another petson or several and withdraw knowing you have contributed positively to their lives but not expect feedback or reward for the deed is an amazing feeling of soul cleansing like inner warmth.

Yes we get feedback anyway just like this great thread. A flower for praise and thanks. Its great. But if we dont get it thats ok to.

Without this inner drive to hold the hands of those struggling we are hollow.

Tony; your formula for finding a soul mate on my thread 'Getting to know you...or is that me?' this past week has not only encouraged great discussion, but has motivated me and others.

It's thought provoking, pragmatic in nature and wise beyond words. Passing on insight and experience is what BB is all about. I for one am grateful and relieved...
