Hi all,

I'm new to this forum. I'd like to introduce myself. I'm 40 years of age, female. My interests include music (any genre), reading a great novel, watching comedy, Restuaranting, and learning new things. I suffer from depression and anxiety. Depression feels very lonely for me. I'd like to reach out for some support. Thank you.

We've got the storm now. Huge winds but gentle rain atm, I think it'll get heavier tho...

We got rain last night but it was SO HOT and humid here today ughh. Not any more! lol.

The only consistent thing about the weather is that it's inconsistent lol.

I'm so proud of you all doing your noblest services for our economy!
I spent all my savings during the shut downs, more than $14k of it, NOT knowing I'd be going P/T during it.

It's ALL GOOD.

Yep, it's going back into the economy.

Yes I'm relaxed. Sent a friend a pic of me and he said I looked relaxed. Swimming and solo time will do that.

When I was renting I couldn't afford hotel stays but living with mumma enables me to do more financially.

Loving it.

I haven't heard back from the couple whose studio I looked at. Ding dong...maybe they don't like me. Oh well, feeling was kinda mutual. She was very nervous and scared showing me the studio. It was unsettling.

Off to bigger and better accomm options. Unless I buy a car...then I'll be waiting longer.

Hey Sleepy,

I slept well. Only booked for 2 nights. Last night and night before. I honestly want to stay longer but there are other things I need money for.
Love waking up to a swim...and love a spa bath.

Birds were very noisy in the evening there were thousands.

Going to embark on the drive home soonish.

Feeling very independent ATM...everyone had at least one person with them at the hotel and there I was by myself.. sometimes I prefer it depending on the company of course.

I'd still be with my ex if he didn't cheat. But scumbag did.

So solo ... financially independent, free solo, rolo for no one, but myself haha.

Monkey, sounds like you had a GREAT time! You go girl!! I'm sorry to hear your partner cheated on you. My ex did too. But I took him back 2 years later .. Well, I just wanted something else but we accidentally hooked up. Lol. Staying was the right thing to do, I guess. Whatevs. The way I see it, these things happen to all of us - Im not preciousnor devastated about it.. It happens. I do it too, so.. Im no angel. I can admit it.
Ems, school uniform shopping lol. 20% off isn't bad. Any discount is good.
Sleepy, I got some towels today also. Got the egyptian cotton ones from Target. I got 2x bath, hand & facial towels in dark navy blue. What did you get?
About to cook potato scallops, chick kiev & side salad w french dressing. Yum. I put bacon & thick cream through potatoes.

Hey Blubs - yum for dinner. I love love dark blue towels they are so nice. Especially that really dark blue - great look. Did you go out to the shops?
I got a sage coloured one and some tea towels which are grey/white. the sage is more blue really its a bit of an itneresting colour.

Felt a bit lonely today, one of my siblings keeps contacted me and I don't want to get involved. I havebeen ignoring.

I totally understand when you said sometimes itsbetter to have company than to be alone. Even if you aren't speaking,a phsyical prescence changes the energy. My neighbour offered to repot a plant of mine which I had dying on my doorstep - she did it really nice. It was just in a little plastic container and I had popped that in a huge pot. Now she's got rid of the plastic container and filled the whole pot with soil so the plant is sitting in it. I'm very not caring about this plant lol and yet it never dies... seems to not need a lot of water.

Yeh, I did go out to the shops .. Was good. Got those dark navy blue towels. I LOVE the sage colour!! Theyre nice. Sage against black & white is awesome, esp white. Beautiful. Good eye with that colour!! Nice colour contrast with the teatowels as well :-)
I take it youre not close with your sibling? Im not...I have nothing to do with mine or my entire family. Good that youre keeping your distance, if she/he is stressing you.
I can understand yiur loneliness. Its horrible feeling. Naw, if we were friends in real life, ill come over and take you out for coffee or lunch and give you a big hug. Xx Yes, physical presence changes the energy, for sure.
My flattie been around all weekend, yes. We hung together this weekend, being lazy in da house. Watched an Italian slapstick..lol. was funny. Cleaned, vacuumed home. He cleaned his toilet He went bike riding for few hours yesterday and this morning, whilst I did few hours of exercise. Im just on a break from doing my stomach core exercise lol. I thought I was healthy, the man eats healthier food than I do!! You should see our fridge. Same kind of healthy food. First thing I noticed when he moved in!!
Lol, the plant .. Lol. Was nice of your neighbour to repot it for you.

Relaxing weekend with flattie! Hanging out and movies and getting the workouts in - sounds lovely!

And you had a yum meal last night... does that mean he's cooking tonight? Does he bring friends over as well? Sounds nice to have his presence like you mentioned - just the prescence. I was thinking a lot about if its better to have people around - whoever they are. Sometimes it is for various reasons. Being lonely is hard 😞

I'm really upset at my siblings -both of them. They both generally ignore communication from me. One of them is in a busy hectic field but the values are a bit off - like when I was in hospital they didn't visit me. Excuses. Crises is invisible in my family - no one cared. I have slowly stopped speaking to them. They have had to be selfish to survive our family I guess, but somtimes its not so nice .

I can understand not speaking to your siblings and sometimes that's just what you have to do. It can help healing really to get away from those that cause drama.
