Introduction - Hello Everyone

Hi all,

I'm new to this forum. I'd like to introduce myself. I'm 40 years of age, female. My interests include music (any genre), reading a great novel, watching comedy, Restuaranting, and learning new things. I suffer from depression and anxiety. Depression feels very lonely for me. I'd like to reach out for some support. Thank you.

I know.

I feel really sick anyway and now I feel far worse.

IDK how to get through this health challenge and manage what I have to do and work.

Now this to go through too. Another heartbreak on top of an already broken heart.

I feel so dazed, I'm in shock. And really really sad.

I hope I can sleep tonight, the pain kept waking me up last night.

And to work tomorrow.

I hope everyone's okay here.

Omg soo happy!! State of Victoria recorded 0 cases and 0 deaths - first time since early June. We did it!!!

So we are movinfg away from 'stay home' to 'stay safe' yay. retail, pubs & hospitality will be able to reopen Wednesday. 25km will be lifted on 8 November. I really hope we stay open without a third wave.

Gyms & fitness reopens on 8 Nov - really looking forward to this!!! Sooo excited. Lol

Lol INDEED there is!

So did I hear my all time favourite Victorians have some pretty swishy new gym gear???

Do you guys do classes or the gym equipment?

Also how's flattie going Blubes?

I think I'm losing my tummy lol... hope it's for good reasons only! But I couldn't count the steps (literally STEPS) up and down I use every day for work.
Over 6 storeys.

xxxxEM

So, I used the equipment. When you initially sign up for membership, you'll get a free personal trainer - I like to use them because they'll teach you how to work on your problem areas. Then you can go on without one.

"I think I'm losing my tummy lol... hope it's for good reasons only!" - losing your tummy is ALWAYS for good reasons!!! That's great to hear bbg. I'm obsesses with mine. It's not muscly (I don't like that look) but I like to keep it toned and flat. I get all apoplectic every month when I get a bit of a bulge we normally get that time of the month. For me, I like to keep tone my butt and stomach mainly - don't know how I'll go having a baby bump. oh lord. I like exercising because it makes me feel healthy. I like being fit. Ems, walking, and esp. walking up & down the steps give you enormous exercise!!! Gets the heart pumping and great for your legs, too.

Flattie is well. We're getting on like a house on fire - it's good. He's at work during the day, comes home, and have a bit of a chat, dinner. Then he'll do his own thing whilst I do mine. Usual, normal stuff. Slowly, slowly .. he'll settle in a bit more. So far, he's very pleasant. And, yes, I do check him out when he's not looking. 🙂 Like when he was trying to fix the light in the hallway tonight. I couldn't help myself.

I'll meet you on your thread, Ems.

Hi Blubes

SO HAPPY to hear the flattie is 'working out' get it? working out lol. Working on my comedic side...

Oh I can't go to the gym lol... I was asking about YOU GUYS....

Up till about 40y ago I was a gym junkie (only did classes, couldn't stand the repetitiveness of the equipment), danced 6 days a week and rode my bike EVERY WHERE, refused to own a car! I was a "professional dancer" for a while but in the most modest of senses!

I've had that many injuries now... I know the exercises I CAN do and gymming is not allowed.
The instructors are not near highly qualified enough to cope with a broken back, fully torn stomach and the other physical issues. I carried more than 2 babies in there to full term remember, my innards served us all well!

EG I cannot and must not do "crunches"... I can tell you what happens when I have but you have to have a strong stomach!

I saw a Physiologist a few years ago and she was brilliant. Tailored a program for me and it made the world of difference even to my digestion... fantastic!

If you're concerned about pregnancy and the rest then I won't tell you how I was injured lol.
Sweet girl.

I'm getting my bike repaired soon, yay! Then I can ride to the shops.

My "steps" at work are great.
I garden like a Trojan my gardener said and he offered me a JOB lol... pays half my pay atm, so no thanks.
My garden is enough for me.

SO AWESOME about flattie knowing how to fix a light AND cook... hmmm. Good.

LOL Love EM

Hi ladies,

that's great about the flattie working out well!
Funny how he dries his clothes in his room - maybe he had a place before where he had to do that? it's funny living with people and finding out quirks about how they live - sounds like his personality is very relaxed and makes the vibes calm and easy - a keeper!

Good on you, it's hard to find a good flat mate 🙂

Yay for us with zero cases and yay for Dan + Silver Fox.

Maybe i can start following the news again with no traumas - I found it all a bit much when the cases were rising about two months ago.
Habit - now I just avoid the news and barely know what's happening. I wait and enjoy your lovely updates so I can have a clue 🙂 so happy things will open up soon for us. Well done Victoria. Your hard work is paying off
